Britney Spears is ready to give her legions of naive fans exactly what they want – hours of miming, confused stares, boring dance moves and aimless skipping across the stage. The Ghost of Talent Past announced today that she will be embarking on a concert tour this year.

Spears will launch her new tour in June and is expected to be accompanied by the far more talented  Enrique Iglesias. Further details about the show have yet to be announced but patrons who have hundreds of dollars to waste in this struggling economy will undoubtedly be ‘treated’ to a setlist of several of her biggest hits.

Sidebar: If you happen to attend the show and can’t hear the music over the screaming of her fans then just whip out your iPod and listen to the album with your headphones. It’s the same thing.
