If you thought Adele’s ’21’ was finished then think again. The UK singer has reclaimed the top spot from last week’s champion, Lupe Fiasco, putting a swift end to his reign at #1.
’21’ returned to the summit of the Billboard 200 this week by selling another 98k copies (down 26%), ousting Fiasco’s ‘Lasers’ from the #1 spot. ‘Lasers’ has fallen to #3 on the lineup with sales of 48k (down 775).
Another British singer who made moves in the top 10 this week was Marsha Ambrosius. The ‘Far Away’ singer’s ‘Late Nights & Early Mornings’ album slipped 2 spots to #10 by selling another 28k units (down 33%) and logged its 3rd consecutive week in the tally’s top 10.
Over on the Billboard Hot 100, Lady GaGa’s ‘Born This Way’ extended its lead at the #1 position by accomplishing 6 weeks at the helm of the lineup. Elsewhere in the top 5 Katy Perry’s ‘E.T (Ft. Kanye West)’ ascended 1 spot to #2, and Rihanna’s ‘S&M’ climbed the pole to #3 while Cee-Lo ‘F**k You (Forget You)’ falls to #4.
Furthermore, Black Eyed Peas’ ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’ jumped from #22 to #5 and Pink’s ‘F*ckin’ Perfect’ dipped from #6 to #7. Man of the moment, Chris Brown, scored his 1st top 10 single since 2008’s ‘Forever’ with ‘Look at Me Now (Ft. Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes)’ at #8.
Finally, Bruno Mars’ ‘Grenade’ slipped to #9 on the Hot 100 and Jeremih’s ‘Down on Me (Ft. 50 Cent)’ hit #10. Jeremih’s entry to the upper regions of the Hot 100 helped him to avoid being classed as a 1 hit wonder following the success of his 1st single, ‘Birthday Sex’, in 2009.

-Can sing, not as good as Beyonce but for a pop singer it is very good vocals. Just not OMG.
-Can dance. Not as good as Bey, but she whipping that hair better than Bey and Willow. And if you look at her LoveGame video and Paparazzi along with her performances, she can dance!
-Can play multiple instruments. Piano, keytar, synthesizer, etc.
-Can give you a SHOW with good vocals, good choreography and a concept. One of the best tours.
-Queen of music videos right now. Bad Romance, Paparazzi and to some extent Born This Way have broken taboos and brought back music videos to the mainstream.
Beyonce:
-Can sing.
-Can dance.
-Can play piano.
-Can give you a show, but I feel that the thing that makes her shows shine is the choreography and vocals. Other than that, I just feel like there’s something missing. It’s just her a mic and a typical band. Maybe I’m just weird, but I just enjoy Gaga’s more complex and conceptualized acts.
-Great videos. Although Single Ladies was just a green screen, but it was also a phenomenon.

When Born This Way comes out May 23rd, everybody will have forgotten about Femme Fatale. Femme Fatale has already lost a lot of money as it leaked 2 WEEKS BEFORE RELEASE. The album has got mediocre reviews, people have heard it and got bored of it already.

To be honest. I love Bey. But I feel that Gaga will s*** on her. She already did it on Britney. Or as Lil Kim would say ‘pissed it on’ Britney. Lol. But now its Bey who is up next. I am excited to hear her new sound. She better give it to us. I know Gaga and Beyonce gonna perform at the VMAs. They gotta.
When BTW comes out all other b****** will be irrelevant. I could see the iTunes chart having it’s songs on high rankings along with the album AND it’s deluxe edition as number one on both iTunes AND Billboard. All these other chicks better watch out cuz the Born This Way single era was just the first wave of Gaga’s Monster takeover. Next up is Judas in about a month and a half. That means yet ANOTHER number one for her. I gotta feeling all her singles off BTW will be number one hits.

She makes every melody, and every lyric in all her albums.
She co-produces her music and videos.
Her video for Judas is being directed by her making her debut as director.
She has such a strong relationship with her fans. I find it very nice to see an artist whom at least tries to be so caring and affectionate toward her fans.
If you guys still don’t get Gaga, then just watch her Google interview. She’s actually very honest, and sincere. She’s also very VERY funny. Haha. She’s very down to earth and so real. Not fake like some other chicks.. Won’t say no names..
This is a billboard update that turns into a stan war. Lady Gaga: Creativity and just all around talented Beyonce: Vocals all day everyday over Lady Gaga and Britney Spears. Britney Spears is the prime example of having no talent but still a loyal fan base and I can respect that. Really though I’d like for her to hang it up. Beyonce needs to either bring it or reunite with destiny’s child. Honestly i’m tired of hearing about all of them I love beyonce because of her voice and gaga because of her antics but even if you get past that she has talent. i love gaga do death ive been to see her live but it’s wrong to compare Britney of now to the current gaga as Britney right now i think is content with where she’s at career wise and sales don’t mean much for her, she sells 4-5 million of her albums world wide these days after the dust is settled and i think she’s fine with that 🙂 x

Only I must say all that you say Gaga does, Mariah Carey is the only other one that has always done. The writing, the producing, the background vocals, the remixes, the constant love and interest for her fans, she knows what she is talking about, She knows how is it to be able to talk properly lol (I don´t want to name anybody, u already know), etc, etc.
And she has been doing it for more than 15 years at least (her career is 21 years but I´m sure she does all to her fans for sure since 1995 at least, don´t know about the very first years). She did it in an era most artists didn´t care about the fans at least in the way she and Gaga do!
