To say that the production on Spears’ new material is brilliant would be a gross understatement. Bass-heavy uptempos like this record will guarantee her success with the iTunes generation.
However, it is blatantly obvious that the chances of Spears channeling the energy of this record into a brilliant live performance or even a music video are next to impossible. Maybe Ke$ha should have kept the song for herself as she is far more interesting that Spears’ has been in years.

Based off of what I heard, Femme Fatale is a must-buy. I have never, in my entire life, been more excited for a Britney record. I’m definitely buying this the day it’s released, and I’ll probably even buy the Deluxe Edition to get 16 songs. VERY excited.

Coming a lot sooner than everyone expected, ‘Till The World Ends’ is the lead single for Spears’s seventh studio album Femme Fatale, due at the end of March. Leaving the dubstep (or as fans have affectionately named it, brit-step) behind, this single is pure electro-pop. The opening beat is punchy; imagine a Guetta anthem slowed down a notch. Britney quite literally purrs her way through the verses, no one but no one does s*** quite like her. ‘I notice that you want it, you notice that I got it, you know I’m gonna take it, to the next level baby’. It’s electro Britney by numbers in a way, until we get to the chorus….

I will admit I was HIGHLY skeptical about the fact that ke$ha, co wrote , “Till The World Ends”. It’s a very infectious and fun. It blows, “Hold It Against Me” out the water. My only complaint is it does have that light Ke$ha feel at the beginning but once that chant, “Ooooh oh oh oh oh oh ohhhh” hits you it’s on.

I personally think this is a HIT. I could even see this becoming #1, and it most likely will. Britney hasnt done anything like this ever. You’ve got to admit that her voice is great for this kind of music. This could be a new re-invented Brit, making hits and paring her voice with techno / house / electronica / trance … whatever it may be, I think this is the style she should go for! Yes maybe there are songs that may seem a bit similiar, but to me this is waaay better than anything Brit has done before. Her voice goes with this type of music so well, almost like it was meant to be. Great job!!!
