A new song from Jennifer Lopez surfaced today. ‘Invading My Mind’ was produced by RedOne and will reportedly appear on the entertainer’s upcoming ‘Love?’ album which is set to hit stores in May. Listen to the record below:
Lopez clearly decided to stick to the same formula that helped to make ‘On The Floor (Ft. Pitbull)’ a hit – heavy bass, soaring synths and a hook that is simple enough for the even the drunkest club goer to remember while dutty wining by the bar.
However, as with most RedOne productions, there is an element of redundancy between this record and ‘On The Floor’. Hopefully, Lopez includes a mix of material on ‘Love?’ because while a string of Dance/Pop singles my work on the charts, an album consisting of only such tracks will become quite boring by track 4.

Haven’t listened, but I feel that these songs are all sort of mulling together to a kesha like lack of substance. There’s not a huge difference between redone and dr lukes styles. An album full of dr luke can’t be that much greater than an albumfull of redone.
Here’s hoping jlo can fit in some substance songs up in love?
WOW this is pretty bad! This sounds more like electro-pop from the late 90’s; it sounds very dated. JNO needs to give it up. She’s only getting success with “OTF” due to American Idol, a generic sound, hype, and iTunes sales. It’s very sad that these old ass artists do whatever they can to stay in the game. JNO has never done straight electronic-pop music. She always did a nice mix of Latin, Dance, Pop, Hip-Hop, and R&B. She could never sing, but at least she had her own sound back in the day, even though she sampled many songs. Back to the song, it’s just too watered down and her “vocals” are pathetic. This is one of those songs that don’t have that UMPH to it.

I like it! I agree there is not much substance but RedOne didnotdo the whole album. I amwaiting to see whatmusic has survived the 2 years.I know if Jlo wrote it,it has substance so hopefully she has music she wrote.

love her in that Roberto Cavalli i like this song but i need it in better quality they need the HQ version asap u can tell this aint the final version its muffled kinda like the first version that was leaks of on the floor. I really am tired of dance tracks! I don’t like songs that sound like 1 person or group making an entire album (BEP, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, even Britney & Rihanna). This does fall under that category somewhat, but I will say that it’s the catchiest and most likeable song in the last few years since the dance takeover (besides On the Floor). I hope Jlo does have more to offer on Love ? and dabbles back into her Urban pop and R&B territory. It’s time to move on! This track is a solid B though.
