With the premiere of her new reality show, ‘The Voice’, only days away, Christina Aguilera made a guest appearance on ‘The Today Show’ to promote the launch of series. Accompanied by fellow judges Adam Levine and Cee-Lo, the troubled singer claims that this show is exactly what I needed to save her collapsing career and personal life.
‘The Voice’ will debut on April 26th on NBC. Check out the interview below:

Also “Dynamite” shows versatility as it is a different color to her voice compared to her more R&B stuff, also “Little Dreamer”.

Do you know anything about soul music? It is not based on how emotional the singing is, but on constructing cohesive logical phrases based on the gospel/scale. I don’t particularly like JHud, I don’t think she is a good musician and I think her songs are boring, also she has bad intonation and does strain sometimes.
Beyonce overall is a good singer and does not strain, there’s a couple of performances I thought were awful (her “ave maria” at the BET’s, her tribute to Barbra) but overall I respect her skill though I don’t like her music.
Whitney in her prime had fabulous technique and range, she could growl and grunt but that wasn’t her technique just a stylistic choice and she didn’t do it all the time.
