Jennifer Hudson Dazzles On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Published: Wednesday 13th Apr 2011 by Sam

Jennifer Hudson‘s aggressive promo push for her ‘I Remember Me’ LP appears to be paying off; for in its 3rd week on the Billboard 200, the set holds steady at #8.

The Oscar and Grammy Award winner kept the momentum going last night, taking to the stage on ABC’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’. There she performed album tracks ‘Don’t Look Down’ as well as her rendition of Nina Simone’s ‘Feeling Good’.

  6. KD April 13, 2011

    I love Alicia Keys as an artist but not as a songwriter or producer for other artists. I think that her tracks are the weakest on “I Remember Me”. I hope Don’t Look Down never becomes a single.

  7. JuanR April 13, 2011

    YES! SHE KILLED IT!

  8. Johnny April 13, 2011

    She lacks a bit of stage persona but GOD she sings those songs SO EFFORTLESSLY. Love her!

    Is Larry Jackson paying you for the uber praise for J hud’s cd sam? This cd is NOT doing well! Dont’ look at the chart position, 3 wks and it’s just sold 255k- that’s horrible for all the promo she’s had! The cd is tanking,

  12. THE ONE April 13, 2011

    @JOHN,

    No one asked you for the input ! It’s an amazing album. Don’t Look Down is the second single.

  13. john April 13, 2011

    @The One

    No one asked you for your opinion which is subjective. The objective facts is that the cd is t anking 255k in 3 weeks aint’ good no matter how good or not the cd is

    @JOHNVIDAL

    Yes, they confirmed it last night. They said welcome back Jennifer Hudson for a premiere performance of her new single!

  16. THE ONE April 13, 2011

    @JOHN, You’re an X-Tina stan right? You shouldn’t talk about sales. End of!

  17. yooummaddd April 13, 2011

    I can’t take an x-tina fan commenting on anyone’s album sales serious, she’s doing much better than x-tina is thats for sure.. The sales will pick up once she begins to perform more, so you can sit down..

  18. JohnVidal April 13, 2011

    @THE ONE
    Ok I only watched when the music started

  19. Judge & Jury April 13, 2011

    JHud is dropping in sales like 50-60% every week. She’s #56 on itunes US album sales. Stop lying Sam. Positions on Billboard 200 only rep their spot once a week. They are not real time. She has only 30k sold this week according to HITS. Next.

  20. dee April 13, 2011

  26. THE ONE April 13, 2011

    @JUDGE AND JURY,

    Just go away! It doesn’t matter if she sold 100k in the third week. You would still be calling it a flop…

  27. THEONE April 13, 2011

    Lol oh and @JudgeandJury commenting on all of Jenn’s posts. We understand you don’t like her now get the f*** on! And stop acting like iTunes is the only website to buy music…

    You keep copying and pasting the same sentence to all of the blogs.

  28. automatic7aubrey April 14, 2011

    I love JHud I would have preferre another single as her next. I agree that the Alicia Keyes songs are the weakest on the album except Angel. I loooove I Got This, thats my song. Im rooting for her.

  29. Jon J. April 14, 2011

    Jennifer “The Voice” Hudson performance was outstanding last night. I really loved ‘Feeling Good’. She is one of the greatest female artist of her generation. We will see you during award season…

  30. Heyuthere April 16, 2011

    Angel or No one gonna love you SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE SINGLE. Those two songs she just performed are BORING. And she wonder why shes not selling.
