    She is amazing but her album was not good at all. She needs to have more people write and vocally guide and produce her if she does for the next album she will BLOW UP even more than she has done.

    She’s very talented and has a very good stage presence. Alot of vocal acrobatics too. I think she’s great and ticks most of the right boxes. Well done Jessie.

    Ive seen a number of price tag live performances and I consider myself a Jessie fan but she needs to ease off the stage gimmicks and focus on a more solid performance,her adlibs are getting alittle annoying aswell & are more suited to artists that can it pull it off..

    Y’all are crazy. The album is a solid first effort. Sip sip haters. If you gulp, you’ll choke.

    l love this woman she is uber talented her voice is amazing and I love her album. I think it’s solid for being her first release here in the states. Her performances are good too she seems very comfortable on stage, her energy is great and she is working it in 5 inch heels. I say Jessie is a winner and will be a big success cause she can sing and she is entertaining…and not to mention the fact that she’s from another country so ppl will be interested in that just to hear her speak if nothing else. Jessie is far from a flop and since she already has haters I guess that means she is doing something right.

    You don’t even know what you’re talking about. Her album hasn’t “leaked”, it was released a few months ago in several other places before the US so that’s why you have access to the HQ album.

    All artists who release albums in different countries do it on different dates. In fact, they NEVER release the album on the same date all over the world. That would be impractical, especially in terms of promotion. How is an artist supposed to fly all around the world and do TV shows, live performances, interviews etc. in a matter of the few weeks before their album release date?

    Adele’s album was available in the UK before it was in America and went straight to #1 on both charts. Leona Lewis’s album was released in the UK a matter of MONTHS before it was released in the US and also went straight to #1. They are just two examples of thousands of artists who achieve the same success using the same technique. In other words, Jessie’s album being released previously in UK before the US holds no value to how well it will do and your argument is invalid.

    Oh please, I’m sick of this chick. I don’t see what the hype is all about? Oh wait she’s european and we know how much certain american’s love artists from other countries. She’s okay but damn, they act as if she’s Amy Winehouse or Adele. Hell, I don’t even get to see the GREAT Corinne Bailey Rae as much as I do this strange looking chick! Whatever Jesse J, we got it you have a a new CD great ! Please go back home now!!

    I love her, she is taking wigs off of your favs head, pouring gas on them and setting them on fire. LMFAO. Face it, she has a mic a couple of dance moves and killin the game.

    You guys will never let anyone shine…. oh except Beyonce, and yall need to get outa here with that BS. WE love her, oh I mean outside of the US…

    @Data: I agree with you, her stage presence is very strong and entertaining, and her little antics are always so extra. But, in a way, it’s kinda refreshing to someone not so uptight about their performance. Her album is a great reflection of contemporary music that dabbles in each and every genre that you hear a lot on today’s radio. Who You Are is perfect melodic blend of blue eyed soul, pop rock, pop soul, and R&B. The lyrical content is pretty impressive, too, considering the fact that she’s penned multiple songs for your favorites (check your album credits). Jessie J is a force to be reckoned with.

    @Timmi

    D***** the album is only #7 on iTunes US. Like I said, no one gives a f*** over here. Sorry to disappoint! Go kiss F******’s ass some more. Why are u even in this thread? Next.

  17. TIMMI April 15, 2011

    @JUDGE & JURY

    Lmaoo what the f*** was all that? I can see why you’re getting mad, but calm down. You KNOW that you had nothing to say back and yet you still couldn’t swallow your pride and decided to come back here and type up some completely irrelevant, senseless and MAD paragraph #ICant.

    I don’t know what relevance you thought the album being #7 on iTunes holds to what I said. I didn’t say Jessie J’s album was #1, I simply proved you wrong about the fact that you thought it couldn’t do well because it was released previously elsewhere by providing 2 of thousands of examples, Leona Lewis and Adele. That obviously made you rage.

    Anyway, for a British artist to already be number 7 on US iTunes when the album has only been released for just over TWO DAYS? And you’re telling me nobody cares? Lmaooo! All I have to say is, when the album climbs up the Billboard charts (the important one) I want you to be a brave f** and come back to this post and accept defeat so I can laugh in your mad face. If I don’t find you here I will find you somewhere else, so you better start making a new name.

    As for the Mariah mention, that was just lame and DESPERATE. I literally spat my coffee out.

    If you are going to spout off and talk s*** like you know something, learn to calm yourself and don’t get mad when someone shits all over your invalid argument. When you read this, take deep breaths and count to ten. Peace, you C***. xx
