I think your irritation with Asians being put above Americans at times is what made you misread my comment. I said Korean ARTISTS were better than American ARTISTS. The artists is extremely important, Kavion; I would never put Koreans above Americans. But talent-wise, hell yes they’re better. There are maybe 1 or 2 American artists releasing music right now that I would consider more talented than Korean artists.

Meh…..Katy does have a semi-decent voice, I guess. I hate every one of her performances because she gives NOTHING even if her vocals are somewhat subpar. Acutally Rihanna makes my most favorite pop songs from the past few years. I may not like her as an artist, but I have ALWAYS made it very clear that I love her music. I prefer POP from the 80’s and 90’s but as far as recently Rihanna is definitely the favorite. GGGB was an amazing Pop album. I’m not sure if you were posting here at TGJ at the time Rude Boy came out but Rude Boy was my S***! And she didn’t disappoint with LOUD which contains one of my favorite songs of 2010 WMN.
Now I did like EARLY Gaga (Just Dance, Poker Face, Bad Romance, Paparazzi) but we ALL know how that story goes. And I was rooting for Britney, too, especially after the Blackout era (one of my favorite albums), but she disappointed me with the Circus era and this era. I’m a HUGE Backstreet Boys fan! This is the very best Katy performance I’ve ever seen! She’s not very good live, because she’s usually pitchy and singing off key. She also looks awkward dancing live and she’s just stiff and robotic! Here she was none of those things (too much). She sounded great (and that was because there was minimal movement to help keep her steady). she looked amazing and it all came across s***, even! I didn’t see a lot of chemistry with Kanye, but I’m glad they didn’t try to fake it too much! It was really solid.

Love the song and glad she recorded the voice before she hit the stage (and yes this is CLEARLY LIP SYNCED but not to the original voice on the song, she just recorded it again to sound less studio like in order to get the REAL feel) because I did not want her to F this song up like the others she have chopped and screwed up. Im not a fan of her Live Performances at all cause her voice is less than desireable live.
