Alas! Finally some good news for R&B legend Toni Braxton.
The singer and her sister’s hit reality series ‘Braxton Family Values’ has been renewed for another season by WE tv; with its renewal coming after just 4 episodes into its debut season

NEW YORK, May 10, 2011 – WE tv, the network devoted to showcasing and celebrating women and the relationships that define them, unveiled a robust slate of brand-defining programming today.
The 2011/2012 slate includes a second season renewal of the network’s popular original series, Braxton Family Values, starring singer/songwriter Toni Braxton and her four sisters – Tamar, Trina, Towanda and Traci – as they navigate the drama created by the relationships among them. Recently called “… guilty-pleasure gold” by Entertainment Weekly, the series is produced for WE tv by Magical Elves and will return with 13 all-new, one-hour episodes in 2012.
Rounding out WE tv’s schedule, the network also announced three brand new original series:
Amsale Girls profiles the personalities of the consultants and brides at the popular NYC bridal salon, Amsale; Texas Multi Mamas looks at the inner workings of modern families with multiple children; and The Willis Clan goes inside a family grooming their 12 children into extraordinary savants.“Braxton Family Values has struck a chord with our audiences – it’s one of our most popular shows ever,” said Kim Martin, President & General Manager, WE tv. “The series embodies the essence of WE tv’s brand – Life As WE Know It – as a women’s destination providing relatable, unfiltered stories about the real and dramatic moments that define modern family life.

GOod!!! Coz I love this show!!! One of the few family reality shows that has substance and isn’t just about drama but with problems that families can relate too!!! (Alcohol addiction, struggling with money, having an illness, etc)

As long as we act a fool we can have a show. But, if we were to act like we have some common sense, education and dignity, then they have a problem with the ratings or there is an issue with getting enough advertisement. And, we have the nerve to spit on Tyler Perry’s work and characters when w support these minstrels on a weekly basis?! Wake up people! We aint getting any higher with this. This is not good news! Its another nail in our coffin! We continue to live the same stereotypes that keeps us jobless, disrespected, manless, etc…

Tamar is the star but Traci is quickly moving up that list. Its always the biggest star of the family thats the most boring, just like Keyshia Cole, her show was nothing without Frankie and Neffie, we didnt even need keyshia on it.

Some of y’all need to check yourselves. No one would have watched the show if Toni Braxton wasn’t the main reason. I the titling was “Tamar’s Family Values”, then no one would have tuned it. Toni is the main reason. Recognize.
I love the show & hope they keep adding more . I love Toni because she is so cool . I love all the sister’s ,because I have six . Tamar is over the top. I like her …but I think she is so extra mot of the time. The show is really good because it is showing a real family. I never watched a reality show…but this one is my Tuesday night special. I also Love ” Sinbad’s ” show. Keep him on also. We Tv is on my Fav list now. :-))
The strength of the wolf is the pack! Toni’s name is what sealed the 1st deal, but make NO MISTAKE, Tamar’s role is what sealed the 2nd deal – Season 2! And Trina, Traci & Towanda’s personalities balance the show from being too extreme. So yes “Carlitos” recognize! They ALL make the show!
Congrats to the ladies. I love the show because I can relate to a lot of the drama. Tamar is definately the life of the show. I like Trina and Traci because they know how to let go. Toni is a seasoned diva…love it. Towanda is a little too serious, pep it up girl!
I definitely think they all balance each other and the show out. With Tamar, I could easily stop watching the show, because she’s seriously trying too hard to be a negative stereotype. But her sisters make it watchable. My favorites are Traci and…..Trini. People are claiming Toni’s boring, but if she was like the rest, I don’t think I’d watch the show. For me, she’s part of the “voices of reason” on the show. I’d like to see a little more of her, but I know she’s dealing with a lot and her sisters MORE than make up for her absence. I’m glad this show didn’t turn into an unwatchable Real Housewives show. I stopped watching that mess after the first episode of season three.
