Kelly Rowland celebrated the success of her hot new single ‘Motivation’ at Beso Las Vegas last night (May 8th). The Destiny’s Child diva invited 15 VIP fans to dine with her at the Steak eatery, which is owned by Desperate Housewives star Eva Longaria.
There, she signed autographs and chatted with all attendance – many of whom won tickets via Hot 97.5 radio.
‘Motivation’ currently sits at #6 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Chart. And, with over 30 Million audience impressions at Urban and Rhythmic radio, is fast shaping up to be Rowland’s biggest solo hit yet.

@Andrew So i guess Lil Wayne came up with the chorus, the production and wrote the song, HAVE A SEAT! She could have got any rapper on the track thats popular rite now, ie Waka, Em, Wiz, Jayz and it still would have been a hit. She said she was a fan of Waka, so i hope she does a record with him.

I am so happy for her. It’s crazy thinking that “Motivation” was still just released so i feel like it has a long way to go. I can see it hitting #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts. I would love to have dinner with Kelly; she just seems so nice and humble!

Maybe Kelly is the type of singer who has more success when she collaborates, have you ever thought of that? She was a killer during her DC days (Soldier, Cater 2 U, Dilemma..) but for some reason she doesn’t give *me* the same energy when she’s all by herself.
She’s still a fan favourite, so I rather see her sitting in the Top 10 with a duet.
And speaking of Wayne, I said he got “critical” acclaim for this song so bringing up his album sales is off topic.

I read on another site a few days ago that the song is gaining sales esp on i-tunes in the states, they showed a visual on the position of Motivation and Who runs the world. Well all that i can say from seeing what i saw it was a funny site to see, I hope this is true, i did mention weeks ago that i liked the diplo remix of the track compared to the original, well now i am warming to the original. The video is hot, Kelly is hot and should be recognized as a true artist, still waiting for the UK release of the single, as soon as it drops over here i will be getting yself a copy for sure.
