Based on this new promotional pic, Lloyd is taking the song’s title to literal levels – as the look has been done time in and time out. Still, we’re keen to hear what the 17 year old will be serving up with her Stadeside recorded material.

When she auditioned on X -Factor, she was “different”. You don’t get many people singing modern music of black origin on there and decently. So when she performed it was interesting. However, loads of people noticed that she was imitating American artists such as Beyonce, Rhianna, Keri Hilson and various rappers, rather than being herself. She is in unoriginal, mundane and monotonous based upon her performances in X- Factor. The typical thing to happen is that they will market her as if she’s the best british “soul singer” (I use that term exceedingly loosely) of the 21st century.
I agree that she is young and she needs to find her own way, but this isn’t it. I think she needs to finish school and work on her music for a couple of years before jumping into it. I think the record company sees her as a gimmick to cash in on.
Sorry Lenni i disagree. There have been many people who have sung R&B songs during the xfactor auditions but when the show is edited we see what we are shown.
Remember that the first auditions are not in front of the judges, people are selecterd to then go in front of the judges to sing and then we get the edited version of that. If yoy watch the xfactor after Alexandra Bure won you see that the amout of minority singers were limited and the most of them couldn’t sing. The show was manipulated for Cher to be a big part, she couldn’t just sing that song without clearance
Ah Yes! I forgot about the X- Factor MANIPULATION Dev! They did the same with that girl Katie Waissel. I noticed that they gave her more R&B inspired songs and gave Treyc Cohen boring and simple songs for her that did not demonstrate her voice properly.

Cher Lloyd is only 17 and Im pretty sure her album will have singles, maybe not in states, but in Uk, she has a lot of fans. She’s maybe young, but that girl can sing and rap. Also, she have attitude. In 2-3 years, she could be the next big thing if she sing what she likes. You should look at her audittion of turn my swag on or when she remix viva la vida by her own style..
