She won’t flop at all. After the Glastonbury Festival (Jun 26), there’s a big break until July 9. That’s 2 whole weeks for her to promote in the US. Probably doing heaps of Tv appearances. Then she goes back to Europe for 2 more days, then probably more promoting there before coming back to the US again. She surely isn’t flopping. She travels to places in one night after doing a performance, so for sure she will definitely be able to fit in promoting. I think all of July is going to be filled with her promoting.

Prove it. Saying Rated R tanked because Loud was released a year later is like saying A Girl Like Me tanked because GGGB was released 9mo. after A Girl Like Me.. Neither of which is true. Rihanna releasing albums in rapid succession is nothing new. Saying Rated R tanked or calling Rihanna a singles artist (even though she’s already sold over 4M copies of her album in 6 months) because Bey’s singles are struggling isn’t going to make Bey’s singles struggle less. And only the pressed of the pressed would suggest that all of Rihanna’s singles off of Loud sound the same. S&M and Only Girl are dance pop. WMN and Man Down are clearly more urban singles with dancehall inflected undertones, and CKB is a ballad that could easily find a place on country radio.
As for the Forbes list . . . Tyra Banks, with her ANTM and talk show liscencing and syndication deals isn’t there, neither is the Kardashian family who banked 67M last year, but keep thinking that Rihanna didn’t make any money last year, if it suits you.

I love this song. Don’t hate because BEY has talent. She’s not looking for number ones. Anyone can get number 1s on the chart nowadays look at all the autotoned studio artist songs. Euro pop are for kids, they want to go dance and s***. Remember when crunk was in that was what 2003-2006? That era is gone this euro s*** just started it will fade in a min.
I just heard the entire CD by way of this leak. This CD is just “alright”. Nothing really stands out to me. I would say that out of 12 songs on this CD, there are only about 3 or 4 that I like. The rest sound like “fillers” to me. Nothing sounds “radio friendly” or like #1″ material to me. She’s singing way too hard and it sounds like she’s screaming on these tracks. The song, “Countdown” sounds like she’s picking up where, “Check Up On It” left off. It sounds like something a high school cheer leading team would do. “Love On Top” has a very 70’s feel to it to me. Her notes on the song is going up and up, but as a result, she sounds like she’s yelling and screaming. I honestly have to say, that this is Bey’s weakest CD to date. It’s obvious, because all of the songs that have been released as singles should have gone straight to #1. Come on now, this is the self professed “King B”. If she has all of these “stans” and fans, why isn’t her music selling or moving up the charts? Everyone keeps predicting that her CD will sell at least 600,000 copies within the first week of it’s release. How is that possible when people can’t even get the singles that are out now to move up the itunes, Billboard and others charts? She may still be bale to sell this CD. But, it will not be close to what she’s done in the past. My personal grade on this CD? I give it a “C”.

Okay….I have heard the whole album…Well, I will speak for me and say that this is a strong album. Very strong album. The production is strong. The Vocal Arrangements are sick. Party is unbelievable. Who does these harmonic arrangements? She went IN with them.
The best songs are: Party, Countdown(Love How the Boys 2 Men sample was used), End Of Time(I love this version better than the original, more adlibs, a few more harmonic arrangements make the difference), Love on Top(Talk about continuingly changing keys), Rather Die Young…In fact, four of those 5 songs I gave all 5 stars. They are great. Also, I Care is strong also(those Head Voice Adlibs slay my soul).
In fact, the only song that I gave less than 4 stars is The Best Thing I Never Had and that’s far from a bad song too(3.75). My grade for this album: 4.5 overall(90 out of 100), A- The same grade that I gave B’day(her best album) and this album can be argued as her best.

Popular music blogs including That Grape Juice and PinBoard Blog have removed “Party” and “Countdown,” reportedly due to cease-and desist notices from the singer’s legal team, and after reporting the album had leaked in full, Oh No They Didn’t, the largest community on LiveJournal, is removing links to the album in its comment section.
But that isn’t stopping people from taking to Twitter to throw up links, as it’s a bit trickier to stem this flow. Could this be a potential hazard? The album’s first single, the dancehall jam “Run the World (Girls),” didn’t perform like previous first singles “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” “Déjà Vu” and “Crazy In Love” (though at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100, the track is at its highest entry). Reps for the singer didn’t return requests for comment.
Up until now, the singer has carefully offered a taste of the disc. I blame Puff Daddy. No, not P. Diddy or even Diddy but Puffy, the shiny suit wearing, Diddy-bop dancing, wannabe Bad Boy rapper. The year was 1997 and Puff Daddy’s debut album No Way Out had just released it’s first single “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down.”
Mase, who flows on most of the track, raps in his slow Harlem drawl one of the most famous lines in hip hop culture, “Or he got his Ph.D/Player Hater’s Degree,” complete with that signature high pitched laugh. And the rest was history!
You can’t tell the truth about your friend’s ugly sweater or your sister’s cheating boyfriend without being labeled ‘a hater.’ Since when did criticism become hate?
I love criticism. I especially love it when it’s constructive, but even when it’s not I don’t expect everyone to agree with my point of view and I definitely don’t assume they’ll agree with my taste in food, clothes, men, and cars. I could go on. But just because they disagree doesn’t mean they’re hating. As mature women, we can’t jump to the “hater” conclusion just because of a difference of opinion. If that’s the case, everyone and their mother’s brother would be a hater.
And sure, sometimes I buy a shirt that makes me look preggers when I’m not, or my nails are so chipped I should be slapped. So I appreciate when my friends let me know. It’s because they care. If they didn’t, they’d let me run the streets looking a bloated mess.
Criticism although it stings, can also make you better in the long run. When you think of criticism as feedback, think how much easier it is to swallow. Every major company has a Research and Development department, dedicated to collecting and analyzing feedback to innovate and make their current products better for the consumer. Feedback, to most major companies, is a necessary part of improvement. And feedback from friends, family and colleagues should make you a better person too, if you’re able to receive it.
