She’s 12 years into her career and is embarking on a World Tour with Femma Fatale, that’s a pretty big deal, you have to admit regardless of your feelings for her.

Its funny that all of them happen to be Britney Spears stans. The delusional kind. Nobody denies that Britney is a legend. She definitely is. She’s an icon. Her phenomenal career is undeniable! BUT the shade comes with how she is NOW. I’ve never seen an artist who was so GREAT at one point be so TERRIBLE now. Thats why people are upset. They yearn for at least HALF of the old Britney. She stumbles around on stage looking like a lost puppy, but people are so happy and thrilled to see her they don’t even care that she’s not with us! That’s the sad part! But in a time where artist like Rihanna can do little to nothing on stage and still be successful its no surprise that ppl still stan for Britney.

Britney still makes good music, but she need to do better with her live performances because they are not cutting it!
I think a generation of people think Britney is an icon but if you would ask really young ( tweens and younger) or people in their 40’s you wouldn’t necessarily have the same response. Even though she is still successful, it seems as if her peak happened and now she is riding on what she did previous. All really successful artists do but she’s still young enough to keep her career going for many more years. It’s too early for people too be reminising about “old” Britney.
Britney seems like a nice girl so why would anyone wish her anything but happiness? I personally don’t think her happiness is on the stage any more though but as long as people buy her music and related stuff, the machine will continue to press her to make music, tour, etc.

Although Britney uses auto-tune all the time and her live performances are really bad, but people are still willing to buy whatever she is selling. I think Britney still has about 5 years until her career is over. People will remember her breakdown but also her hit songs.
