Chris was looking so good today. He is one fine man and his performance was amazing. I was so excited watching his performance, I was late for work. I went to Chris summer jam concert which was at arena’s and most of the people were there to see him and Rihanna didn’t sell out not even have of her concerts in the US. You can still go purchase tickets. Rihanna fans always have to include her in Chris success. They are really showing that they are jealous. Most of the articles about today performance mention Chris beating Lady Gaga numbers, they didn’t mention Rihanna. Rihanna fans love to attach her name to everything Chris does. On Rihanna post people rarely talk about Chris anymore, but her fans run to Chris post and bring up her name. She has moved on, her jealous fans need to move on, because Chris is here to stay a ledend in a making.
Congrats to CB and TeamBreezy, he did an amazying job, shutting down streets to commercial traffic is unheard of during morning rush hour in NYC. I was in the area and there were screaming fans as far as the eye could see around Rockefeller Center. Was kinda pissed couldn’t stay to enjoy the concert, work priorities and all. Anywho can’t wait for the US tour.

I stay right across the street from Rocfeller Plaza and I watched him from my window.I think he did a pretty good job, never been a big fan of his but I was entertained for the most part.
Its not too surprising that he had such a big turn out tho , I mean unlike most other free concerts, the Today Show doesn’t turn away attendance so people were allowed to pile ontop of each as long as they stayed peaceful. Plus its summer time and most of the fans there were like little girls 16 and under.
Also,I think he’s like the biggest name the Today show has for their summer concert series this year, which has pretty much sucked so far IMO. I mean that they got Cee-lo Green next week and last week they had Blake Shelton, like who is really trying to see them?

@MobWife Honey…im not a drug addict. Im actually a musician, and a skilled vocalist. I have studied voice for years, and I can point out different characteristics of one’s voice rather easily. Chris voice has no depth, unlike madonna or any of his contempararies. To say madonna has no real vocal range, you are really stupid. Madonna has a fair vocal range, at least 5-7 octaves. Listen to ray of light.
Im not saying chris cant sing. his voice is just very weak. Just because madonna does not know how to use her voice, dosent mean she cant sing and that she dosent have a range. Her voice is very versatile because she has had vocal training. Before you come for my fave, do your research.
Kesha also has a very nice voice and range. she’s not a bad singer either.

Her highest note is an A6 and her lowest is a g2. She has also had training. you can tell how versatile her voice is in evita. please, dont insult my intelligence. Madonnas voice is stronger than chris browns. She may not have a whitney or celine dion voice, but hjer voice DOES have depth and resonance. she’s not a SKILLED vocalist, but she’s a vocalist none the less. Im a big madonna fan. I also studied Music and Voice for quite a while as have others on this site. Chris clearly has natural talent as a singer, and may be classified by some as an excellent Lyric Tenor or perhaps Baritone. He also has an incredible ear for harmony and his ability to hear pitch is fantastic. Add this to his ability to dance, and Voila!, you have the master performer you see before you.

Stop arguing about who is the best. (tho you’re probably all asleep now). Just say who you LIKE the best and why. The art of performance is totally subjective – its not a matter of technical mastery. Its not computer sicence, its ART.
Breezy is my guy cuz he’s the full package up there. Energy, beat, loose and easy (you call it ‘sloppy’), lanky grace, playful improvising. That crazy stuff he does with that body – it bores you?? That’s you. I love the feeling in his voice, often in his eyes. The man has gorgeous eyes – anyone dispute that??? And that smile? Boredom ends for me when THAT breaks open. Back to voice – love his range, his riffs. Its getting deeper. Yes a bit nasal, a bit shrill. But perfection is a bore! Cute that he messed up his steps and smile. I could go on, but I’ll stop. To each his own. CB my thang!
That coreography was amazing. He could have done without some of the autotune parts and on She Ain’t You you couldn’t hear the vocals clearly because the backing track was loud. And i’m glad he wore a suit and shirt and got rid of the blonde hair. He looks way better now. He did an amazing job!

Agreed, Grafitti was an awesome album. But was Chris invited to do the Today Show in 2010? No way. No one wanted him around. He was wearing that scarlet letter. At lot of us would have still camped out there to see him then. But not as many as yesterday.
Yesterday was so big because the fairweather fans have come back, and he has lots of new fans, who have just got to know him in the last 12 months (since BET). And Chris is IT now – he has the momentum, he is doing singles and collabs like a mad man. And people like to get on the bandwagon. He is totally infectious.

Grafitti was an AMAZING CD! It really set the stage for F.A.M.E.! You will find some of the same concepts he introduced on Grafitti now readily accepted on F.A.M.E. for ex: IYA & PASS OUT were 2 of my favorites from Grafitti. BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE picks up on that musical feel IMO!
