It appears Trey Songz isn’t the only R&B crooner starring in an upcoming feature film. ‘Look At Me Now’ singer Chris Brown is set to appear in the 2012 comedy ‘Think Like A Man’.

The movie is based on the best-selling book ‘Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man’ by funny man Steve Harvey. The movie will also feature Academy Award Nominee Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union, and Megan Good. ‘Think Like A Man’ is set for an April 2012 release.

Chris I think has really been focused on his music. He seems to not want to let the dust settle on F.A.M.E. before releasing new material. He seems to be on every other song played on the radio as well! Now I’m not complaining. I remember the only way to hear his music was to pop in a CD…LOL!
As for the movie roles with all black casts, TAKERS had a very evenly mixed cast IMO! One thing I will say about working in a “like group”, you can have a chance to shine. Everytime I see someone who isn’t Denzel Washigton or Will Smith, they are is a supportive role to a leading white actor …….ususally! I do understand what you are saying though!! We will just have to pray on it! 🙂

Um….he HAS been focusing on music! That’s been his main focus for the past two years. ‘Takers’ was filmed back in 2008, but it was released last year. He hasn’t done any films since then but he has released 2 albums & three mixtapes so clearly music has been his focus.
What difference does it make who stars in the film? ‘Takers’ was a diverse cast. ‘Think Like A Man’ is gonna be a large diverse case full of a lot of really accomplished (Taragi, Gabrielle Union, Micheal Ealy, Jerry Ferrera) actors so he is lucky to be apart of it. Chris can only take the roles that he is offered. I seriously doubt he is getting offered roles where the majority of the cast is white.
I think it’s obvious at this point that ‘Phenom’ isn’t gonna happen. It was supposed to be released like four years ago but it kept getting pushed back. It ain’t gonna happen.
Besides CB is multitalented & he is obviously getting offered roles so he shouldn’t limit himself. He should express himself in every platform that is available to him. But music is & has always been his main focus.
