ALL OF THE NIGHT- It’s ok…I could see Kelly picking this as an Urban single…sounds like an album filler though…2.5/5

DOWN FOR WHATEVER – I cannot begin to explain the similarities between this song and J LO’s on the floor….Same drum layout, same synths (almost the same exact tune) etc! But neither singers are to be blamed because all of RED ONE’s productions are beginning to sound the same! 2.5/5 ( I do not use Kelly’s dance songs on this particular album)

“Keep It Between US” is, by far, the best song on the album. However, I find myself MORE drawn to her songs like “When Love Takes Over,” “Forever and a Day” (VERY UNDERRATED song), and “What a Feelin'”

Well said and I do agree with you in that aspect. I love all her dance songs! They go hard and they are so global. I love the fact that she does not just cater to one type of audience. It would not surprise me if she does better in many other countries because her music is so global everywhere else. To be honest, it’s just a damn leak. Why do people act like leaks are the worst thing? If leaks affected album sales that badly, don’t you think that record companies would be doing everything possible to catch the people who leaked them? Plus, hardly anyone knows that her album leaked and a bunch of the links have been deleted already! I would say that only 1,000 people, if that, would get a hold of the leak for this “Here I Am” album in a few days if the link comes back, and that aint sh**!
I am also tired of people saying she has bad management and her label isn’t marketing her right. You guys really need to learn about how the music business works. I think y’all are looking at Beyonce, Rihanna, and Gaga, and thinking Kelly should have the same overexposure. Kelly used a lot of her damn budget with “Commander,” “Rose Colored Glasses,” “Grown Woman,” and “Forever and a Day.” All those videos cost 100,000’s of dollars and it cost her much more than that just to record all the damn songs for this album. She worked with a lot of pricey and A List producers, songwriters, and other artists. Why the hell would her label continue to put so much money into her when they lost a lot of it last year when all of those singles flopped hard? Didn’t you guys ever think that’s why she’s not on a lot of magazine covers and doing a lot of interviews? In an interview, Kelly herself said there wouldn’t be too many collabos or too many more songs recorded this time around because “there is a budget.”
I think her label is hoping that they can gather enough money from the first week of album sales from her status and the Top 20 hit single “Motivation,” then use that to cover the video and recording costs, and promote her more. The label can’t afford to keep on losing money on their artists. Now if Kelly had endorsements paying for the recording costs and videos like how Rihanna did with her umbrella era, then we would see Kelly everywhere.
