Maybach Music Group signee, singer/songwriter Teedra Moses just released her Independence Day compilation ‘Luxurious Undergrind’.
After the critical praise she received for her 2004 debut, ‘Complex Simplicity’, the ‘Be Your Girl’ singer’s record label folded before the release of it’s much anticipated follow up, ‘The Lioness’. Since then, she’s kept busy writing for Mary J. Blige, Christina Milian (‘Dip It Low’) and Raphael Saadiq; releasing a couple of a well received mixtapes along the way. Earlier this year, Moses was recruited by rapper, and admitted fan, Rick Ross for his Maybach Music Group imprint. Ross has referred to the R&B chanteuse as his personal Anita Baker. Teedra Moses will finally release the long awaited ‘Lioness’ next year. In the mean time check out the free mixtape below.

Definitely a great listen for anyone who respects raw emotion, beautiful melodies, and true talent. She is truly is underrated in the industry. I don’t know anyone who has garnered a more loyal fan base on her own. Since her 2004 debut, she has shown and prove that she can do it on her own, but now under MMG, she is destined to show those who doubted and those who don’t know that the Lioness Can’t Be Tamed!!!!!
