According to MTV, the 29 year old’s latest opus ‘4’ has catapulted back into the top 10 of the iTunes chart, sitting comfortably in the top 10 – some two days removed from her show-stopping performance of ‘Love On Top’. A track which itself has roared into the top of 5 of the digital retailer’s Singles tally
Both feats will certainly serve as a coup of sorts for the superstar. For despite zoning in on the 700,000 sales region, ‘4’ – released back in June – is her slowest-selling LP to date. Meanwhile, ‘On Top’ – an album cut- has out-peaked the record’s official singles ‘Run The World (Girls)’ and ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ on the digital chart.
It seems Team Bey are learning the valuable lesson that making the private public certainly has its perks. As such, this (along with the plethora of music videos on the horizon) may make the shaky start the project had be a distant memory.
