Now one of the years most anticipated Hip Hop albums, last week saw the release of The Game’s ‘R.E.D. Nation’ much to the delight of his ever loyal fan base.
With features from Lil Wayne, Drake and Chris Brown, recent days have seen the performer attempt to push the project on the social networking site Twitter in a bid to boost its first week sales figure.

98,000 units.
This weeks #1 on the Billboard 200, the project is now the third non consecutive album from the performer to debut at the top spot.
Already charting at #2 on the UK R&B Album Chart and #7 in the Irish Album Chart, the LP is on course to sell positively once more when next weeks sales figures are announced.
However, with Lil Wayne‘s ‘The Carter IV‘ set to shift around 850,000 units this coming week, the ‘Pot Of Gold‘ Rapper has more chance of finding a whistle register in a single released by Rihanna than seeing ‘R.E.D.’ return to #1 for a second consecutive week.

Congratulations!!!The album is great.It’s not a patch on the real and raw hip hop albums of the 90’s and early 00’s, but we live in the decade of hip hop trash, so this album is amazing and I applaud Game for not going down the generic route.
Why are people acting like Game is a nobody?He’s not one of my favortie rappers (by no means) but all his albums have been successful and top 3 on Hot 100.He even charted well worldwide; not many rappers can do that.

The Game got a #1 album because he didn’t come out when a major release charted big. It’s that simple. It’s called smart strategy. It’s basically 100k anyway. Their have been some albums that have done good in terms of first weeks sales lately so don’t act like there haven’t been any.

Anywho, congrats to Game, these numbers aren’t great compared to Jay/Kanye & Lil Weasel numbers, but Game is no where near as mainstream as them as he has had no solid hits from this album so far, so I think these numbers are respectable. A No. 1 is a No. 1 so he deserves recognition. Plus everyone is saying its a solid album. He gets on my last nerves sometimes with all the uneccessary beefs he starts, ironically always right before his album drops, but he is a dope rapper and he desveres his credit.
It’s crazy to me that Wayne’s album is gonna push so many considering EVERYONE has been saying how much it sucks and how bad it is compared to the Carter III. There was even a trending topic called #ThingsBetterThanTheCarterIV which I found quite hilarious. Everyone is saying Wayne had fell off since The Carter III but guess it just proves that Wanye has a solid fanbase that will support him no matter what. *shrugs*
I for damn sure won’t be buying the album though.
