Whether you think Kelly has great promotion or not, her ass is still getting paid a few million dollars for being on X factor, being the ambassador for Empress, and having a #1 Urban and Top 20 single on the charts; not the mention the royalty checks she still gets from Destiny’s Child and When Love Takes Over. She’s doing very well. Do we see singers like Mya, Ciara, Keri, Cassie, Christina Milian, Teairra Mari, Teyanan Taylor ect doing it big like Kelly? No we don’t. Reaching #3 on the Billboatd 200 charts is amazing! It sold 77,000 copies the first week, but that’s not too bad considering she didn’t get a sh** load of promo and didn’t performed everywhere and also is rebuilding her fanbase. Mainstream is still clueless that she’s here. As long as she keeps on promoting her album on mainstream shows, she’ll be just fine. Plus, Gaga sold like 25,000 copies of her first album the first week it came out and it ended up selling 12 million worldwide! Bruno sold like 30,000 and now his album is platinum. She just needs to continue to work her b*** off.
