New Song: Melanie Fiona – ‘4 AM’

Published: Saturday 13th Aug 2011 by David

Hell hath no fury like an R&B singer scorned.

Check out the latest release to surface from the ever impressive Melanie Fiona, ‘4 AM’ which sees her take on the role of a cheated on lover. The song is reportedly lifted from her upcoming album, ‘THE MF LIFE‘.

4AM MF by urbaninformer

If ‘4 AM’ is indicative of what is to come on the performer’s next LP, many of her doubters may just have to reconsider their stance on her.

For despite delivering well loved material on her last album, ‘4 AM’ is a clear indication that Ms. Fiona is ready and able to strike new and far more interesting sonic ground.

As well as this, despite the fact that high chart positions have never seemed to be #1 on the agenda of either she or her team, ‘4’ does indeed sound as though it could make impressive movements on Billboard upon its release.

I really like her singing voice. Not to over the top and not to below the bottom.

    She’s a great singer.

She does everything well but this is the best song I’ve heard from her. She shouldn’t abandon the reggae but this is dope.

GO MELANIE!This is a great song!!It really reminds me of ‘Motivation’ though, but that’s not a bad thing. And for some reason, the word motherf***er coming out of her mouth sounds weird…

Alright, I just have to say this!!This is the kind of song that I wanted JoJo to come out with. After the ‘Marvin’s Room’ cover, this is the perfect song to get her the attention of the people that checked her cover and the vibe which is similar to ‘Marvin’s Room’ would help too.The production is similar as well.Still, nothing but love for Melanie and good luck to her.I hope she will be able to release the album that she’s been working on soon.

I just hope A-L-L of you HETEROSEXUAL black men realize that SHE’S INTO WHITE MEN/NOT INTO BLACK MEN!!! She’s NOT singing, dancing, nor thinking ’bout YOU, black man..!!

And she can’t deny this fact! Why? Well, because I actually heard her “get put on blast” on a radio show ’bout it!

What does Kelly Rowland, Wynter Gordon, Melanie Fiona, Santee Gold (and others) ALL have in common? They mess with white men and DON’T deserve the support of HETEROSEXUAL black men!
..What’s T-H-E MOST glaring difference between white and black men? White men won’t, in any way, support ANY that does NOT include HIS image/likeness, and DEMANDS you do the same!! Black men do the very opposite; they’re even afraid of THEIR very-own shadows!

UNDERRATED AND OFTEN OVERLOOKED RNB SOUL SINGER. WAAAY BETTER THAN ADELE IN RELATNG EMOTIONS. BUT SADLY, HER LACK OF POPULARITY IN MAIN STREAM WILL SEE HER CAREER SWIZZLE OUT OVER THE NEXT 3-5 YRS. TOO BAD… BACK TO CANADA SHE GOES. TRUTH!!!!

  22. JOE FRANCO August 14, 2011

I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!! MELANIE YOUR THE BEST!!!!!!!

  23. Thedimplepuppet August 14, 2011

I heard the song & I love it from the first listen. @ —> XY&Z I’m not here for her personal life & who’s she giving her p**** to, I’m here for her music and I will continue to support great music.

    @Thedimplepuppet re: Aug 14th —

“I’m not here for her personal life & who’s she giving her p**** to” <– 0~o The absolute fuckry that now allows the YT/Mainstream to now dictate the who, what, where and when of music AND the culture as a whole! The very reason WE now bleach our skin!

Congratulations Sir: you're the absolute last man stranded on "righteous island"..

"A black man has a long-standing business in a black neighborhood. A white man then opens a competing store on the other side of the street. Said black man begins to loose clients and sees a decline in his business. He then one day stops one of the black patrons heading inside the white store owner's establishment, and then asks him: "Why are you buying-from/supporting HIS business? I offer competitive prices. The money my business generates gets circulated within our community. I was born, raised and now-still reside in this neighborhood AND I hire black folks from this very-same community – HE doesn't!"

..To which the self-righteous black patron (who is only concerned with "good music") says: "Yes, all that you say is true, but I just didn't want him to think we were racist!"

    X,Y,"and Z" — OUT..!!
