Good voice, but the album is a little overrated. I listened to it all the way through and I don’t know how it can still be at the top of the charts.

Anyway I am in a love/hate relationship with Adele, I think that she is talented but supremely overrated. As for the above performance, she did good but that was to be expected.

I don’t know quite how to say this but there is something a bit disturbing about the “fandom” I see in this clip. It gives me creepy Nora Jones, “Come Away With Me,” 8 Grammy’s in one night, Diamond certified creepiness.
I love Adele. I love this album. But this clip makes me happy to think about the fact that she is considering incorporating country and bluegrass influences on her next album, just to see who will still be around after “21.”
Remember when Prince released “Around The World In a Day” after the monster “Purple Rain?” Yeah, like that.

She is SO overrated it isn’t even funny. I also hate her stupid accent, in Britain we call her accent a “chavs” accent. It’s true she’s a wannabe chav, she probably started smoking at the age of 13 like all the other chavs in my school. Fortunately she has an angel stuck in her throat. Beautiful performance regardless of the negative things I said.

LOL at how your sole voice is suddenly the voice of Britain. Where I am from, people with an inch of common sense call her accent a North London accent. Have you ever been here? You’re acting as if she’s pulled her accent out of nowhere, when her accent is typical of that in her area. You have obviously been blinded by the 25,000 other singers who have had elocution lessons.
And as far as Adele wanting to be a chav… You obviously don’t know what a chav is. Chavs are everywhere and aren’t generalised by their accent but more by their actions: anti-social behavior, wearing tracksuits, having tattoos, vandalising, using “gangster” slang, being unemployed and living off benefits etc.
Adele doesn’t conform to any of that, and she is amongst roughly over 20% of the population who smoke, of which are definitely not all chavs.
I’m not saying you have to like Adele or support her music, but you are amongst too many negative and ignorant people in this planet who thrive on stereotyping people on stupid factors (such as accents) and slapping labels on them.
This girls has no competition…The sky is no limit for what you can do musically for this age that has no one of substance, EXCEPT WELL YOU!!!!!!!! I live in the us and can honestly tell you we have been waiting for this music, what music you ask, REAL MUSIC. Now lets do the right htins GRAMMYS and give her a night like Mike at the Grammys becuase she is the only female out there that deserves it!!!!!!!!! We love you in TEXAS!!!!!
