As reported previously, Lady Gaga was set to guest on MTV tonight to present the official premiere of her latest single ‘You & I’. The segment, entitled ‘MTV First: Lady Gaga’, aired minutes ago and saw the ‘Judas’ singer nearly shut down Times Square as Little Monsters lined the streets to help the her reveal her ‘big announcement’ – that she would be opening the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.

It was a really great interview. I actually think that MTV should have made it a tv special but oh well. Gaga looked amazing and as usual she is genuinely appreciative to her fans. I so cannot wait for her to open the show. I know she’s gonna kill it…as always. 🙂
