To be completely honest, I REALLY REALLY HATE THIS ALBUM COVER! I wished they used the picture for a promo shot in the album booklet. She could have done way better.
But even though I dont approve of her make up, she does have that runway model (vintage in a good way) look that i like.
I really don’t get it…, Leona showed her likability and natural sweetnesswhile on the X Factor and certainly showcased her talent during her time on the show. Of all the contestants on that show I was the most certain of her transition to bonafied magestar and she’s actually turned out to b the most frequently disappointing artist I’ve ever come across. Her and her team had all the elements to work with to make her not just a monetary success bt also a cultural success story. With leona’s talent she should have dominated this industry in the way Adele has from day one or at least alsum two bt neither her nor her team have demonstrated the first clue of how to market her in an exciting yet believable way…, now she comes off like a sort of hologram of a person I don’t even recognise as a flesh and bone person…, just some slightly off elusive songbird stuck in a cage singing the weakest of ‘whitewashed’ blandpop. Bah Humbug! Get it together girl

Love Leona and will be purchasing this album REGARDLESS, but I have to say, the cover is tacky and it isn’t a great shot either. The more I look at that nose the more I become convinced she has had work done. She has that typical flat-nostril look post surgery.
I hope the content on this album is amazing. Leona needs to really understand what type of artist she is and stick to it before it’s too late and she fades into nothingness.
In related news, we will finally get to see Leona perform “Collide” tomorrow on Simon’s “Red or Black”.

Did they not have enough money to do a proper one because this looks cheap, un-inspired and something you would expect an amateur to come up with. Hell, even Lady Gaga’s single cover for ‘Judas’ looked better! Now, I’m not saying that Leona is ugly or whatever but come on, they could have done a better job with this!

That cover is not flattering at all. It looks cheap and like a dumb candid photo instead of an actual cover to an album. And why is the font so cheap looking too? Why does she have those stars under her eyes?

I’m from USA and the way that Leona was introduced & marketed here rubbed me wrong. Instead of touting her as the “new” Mariah they should’ve just let people fall in love with her voice. I heard the songs from that album of songs she recorded before she won that show and they are much better than almost anything she’s released. Those songs were effortless & mixed r&b with pop while allowing her voice to shine.
I don’t really care about the cover but sadly since I really haven’t warmed up to her 1st single, Collide, I won’t be buying this album unless I hear 4 or 5 tracks that I love.
