Bringing some much needed energy to night 2 of the iHeartRadio Music Festival, triple threat diva Jennifer Lopez rocked the MGM Grand Garden arena stage last night in Las Vegas. Zooming through a number of hits including ‘All I Have’, ‘I’m Real’, and ‘Get Right’, J. Lo continues to prove why – even at 42 – she’s right up there with (leagues above some) starlets nearly half her age.

I’m sorry, but J.Lo killed this! Given the length of time since her last televised concert (even though she has been making special appearances globally), this was proof that J. Lo is still keeping up (and exceeding) many of her peers on the performance front. Some of the younger peers, who may benefit from more chart success (*cough cough Britney & Rihanna cough cough*), should have been on hand to take notes.

We all know the only thing she has that can be called talent is the dancing, so I don´t know why a few people are getting excited now? haha She has not any type of talent for music. She keeps doing good what she did good in the past at 41. That´s something good right?

She was amazing!!I absolutely agree with the review!!It was great!She danced very well in the songs where she had a loud backing track and I’m actually glad that during the rest of the set, she focused a bit on the vocals (even though it wasn’t 100% live).It shows growth. 🙂

Hmm I see your point. But really good performers than haven´t any type of musicianship are not really worth it. I showst in the sales or in the reaction from the audience. Just compare with the Gaga´s videos of this same event

@JOHNVIDAL You can’t compare GaGa to J Lo, though.It’s unfair.Jennifer Lopez has been in the game for 12 years, so of course she won’t get a triumphant response from a crowd of teenagers and under 25’s.It is totally normal.GaGa is new so she’s going to get the crowd more hyped, but at the end of the day, you can’t really compare the response to prove something about either of the two ladies.

She does what she does well. Her voice may be weak live most of the time but it isn’t offensive. She pre-records vocals but at least we don’t get the original track for playback. No musical talent? The girl is also a songwriter. Dancing is an art form of movement which is rhythmic and usually performed with music. As far as vocals go there are many videos that prove she has some singing talent as well. Just type in Jennifer Lopez can sing in Youtube, or in Google.

Sorry but she has not any type of singing voice. No matter how you two want to put it. And the people being hyped cos Gaga is new, is true only parcially. Gaga can move an audience, JLo can´t. That´s it. And that has to do with musicianship and people knowing and sseing the girl they are watching makes and loves true music. more examples? Rihanna can´t entertain either, Katy Perry neither, Minaj neither (and she is new, now go and see the difference between her performances and Gaga´s and the audience´s response). Ah this brought back so many fond memories, I used to jam to J Lo and she had so many good songs. Damn she looks good, she really knows how to stay vibrant and connect with a crowd. Props to her.

@JOHNVIDAL J Lo is not a vocalist, she is an entertainer, which involves singing (she is not very good, yet she tries and she sings live most of the times in live concerts), dancing (she slays), looking good (you already know), communicating with the crowd (she does it), make the audience happy and excited (she does it), interract with the dancers (she does it) and do justice to the songs (she does it and then some).She is an ENTERTAINER and a PERFORMER.And YOU are the one starting the comparisons in this case 😎

I know you ain’t calling gaga a “real” musiscian?? did you watch what JLO did? that was real entertainment when you have to rely on face prosthestics and dry humping to “move” a crowd then you ain’t in jlo’s league! Hmm yes Gaga is a real musician, wheter you like her music or not. J Lo isn´t. She can only perform (lipsyncing) and even having talent at that she has not made tours never ever in her life. She needs months to prepare for a performance. That´s why you only see her twice per year.
