YASSSSS, some of the music I’ve liked from her the most has been based off that alter ego in her singles and features. Roman comes the hardest. Good for Nicki I’m sure she’ll do well. At the end of the day whether folks like it or not Nicki has the freedom to do something different. It’s not hard to be a traditional female rapper there’s a well worn checklist to follow, but she has the money, support and fanbase to chuck all that to the side and do whatever the f*** she wants to do. Frankly I like that because I can only listen to the same 20 topics in the same 20 ways from rap music so much. It’s intriguing when someone steps outside of the restriction of traditional rap and tries something challenging that could make or break them.
