No stranger to moving a crowd, ‘Moment 4 Life’ femcee Nicki Minaj took to the MGM Grand Garden Arena hosted ‘iHeartRadio Music Festival’ last night in Las Vegas to rock with the likes of Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and more. Acting as sole rap representative for the night, and only one of two rap acts billed for the entire festival (see: Jay Z – night 1), the rapstress undoubtedly held her own in a colorful set that displayed the energy and wackiness fans have grown to know and love of the ‘Your Love’ performer.
Blazing through her hottest hip hop hits, fans can see more of Minaj after the jump:
While never claiming to be much of a singer and recognition that singing isn’t her first calling, we kinda want to give Nick Nick (like hip hop hitmakers The Dream, Drake, etc.) a pass for some of those sounds. For with a style that was arguably popularized by early 2000 rappers Ja Rule and Nelly, (some) emcees either think it’s ok or funny to sing off-key. Well, umm, it’s neither. Minaj definitely moved this crowd, but during certain moments during the ‘Moment 4 Life’ performers set, I believe they were moved toward some earplugs or exit signs. E
