I would bet errything on the fact that Kelly does not want to be a superstar. Errytime she gets close she finds a way to sabotage the success. A fine example is the songs she was working on for an album that she never released. I mean, she had Gayle King hosting a listening party for her so you know the next logical stop was Oprah. Commander was doing well on the charts and Grown Woman was a contender but she just dropped the project. Now with a #1 hit on this album with Motivation she just didn’t give it the necessary promotion.
Don’t get me wrong, Kelly wants to make money and she loves her craft but I don’t think she wants to be as huge as we want her to be.
