Jojo may be singing about disasters these days, but you are about to witness one. As has been making its rounds around the blog-o-sphere, a host of has-beens have joined forces to create what is certifiably a historic hot mess of a video. Led by ‘Grind On Me’ group Pretty Ricky, the visual for ‘Knocking Off Your Heels’, said to be the lead single from their upcoming BlueStars 2 (due early 2012), features legendary R&B group Jodeci and 90s R&B bad boys H-Town.
While fans of all three groups have noticed their collective absences from charts and radio alike, view of this visual may concern and confirm that even more absence is yet to come.

If ever there was proof needed of how bad the recession is, review of this video should lend confirmation. For whomever put their piggy bank savings together and financed this foolishness was clearly ‘knocked off’ of something. While the vocals were not nearly as difficult to deal with as the visual, it was the poetic lyrics that accompanied this Casio keyboard beat that made this disaster a trainwreck.
While we at TGJ generally give out A’s for effort, here’s hoping that the members of one of the groups learn to play more to their ‘strengths’ (as it is increasingly clear that music is not one of them).
Just when you thought Pretty Ricky had lived down enough embarrassments, they follow up with ‘Heels’. Cue lights?

It coulda been a scream fest but i thought it was pretty legit. The harmonies were on point! But yea this will prolly be the last time I listen to this. #noshade

Their first album was alright, it had some good songs on it.
I thought their 2nd album was great, not one bad song on it and still enjoy it now.
Then third album onwards they just went downhill. I don’t know if it was to do with Pleasure P leaving, but I have completely gone off them.

The video wasn’t as bad as what the description said it would be. The harmonising and singing was good. Spectacular was terrible. It was alright.

TGJ went in a little too harshly on the song. The video was a hot boiling mess but the song was alright (minus thjat horrible rap verse). Pretty Ricky could’ve been left off.
