The second live show of X Factor 2011 kicked off just hours ago.
{For those unfamiliar with The X Factor, the show is the UK’s version of American Idol – with a twist in that groups and over 28’s are eligible to enter. Now in it’s seventh season, the show is responsible for birthing the careers of Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, and JLS. It’s US version launched just weeks ago on FOX}.

The level and standard has gone down on xfactor since Alexandra Burke won and they tried to make the show more entertainment based after her performances.
This year is most possibly the cheapest with the judges, set up and acts. Haven’t watched it apart from this week and Misha B seems to be the only one giving me anything.
I noticed the stylings have become generic and so so.
The show was down 1.6 million on last years at the same stage… Hope kitty stays this week!
Rhythmix were so good! Hope they win already, Misha could be a winner but she was given the wrong song, Marcus was also amazing. The UK/Original version is SO much better than the US/Remake version.

Misha did a outstanding performance. As Gary said, it felt like a guest artist rather than a contestant.

Janet needs to step it up (REALLY!)
Good vocal showing from Sophie Sami and Marcus (lacked connection but still sung it well) but they need to stand out a lil more.
Rhythmix gelling abit more so improved performance.
Love Gary Barlow but must say that I’m disappointed in his song choices over the past couple of weeks. I expected more from him as a mentor. In my opinion Kelly is doing the best mentoring job followed by Tulissa -despite her act being kicked off this week.
