The singer-songwriter, who is on the verge of completing her third, yet-titled album, was spotted on VergeUK’s couch recently dishing on a number of topics. Following up her stint on Lil’ Wayne‘s ‘I Am Music Tour’, the ‘Pretty Girl Rock’ hitmaker has already rocked a number of stages across the continent on a European tour in support of her sophomore effort ‘No Boys Allowed’.

I wouldn’t say she is a total flop, No boys allowed sold 110,000 copies in it’s first week, which is not a flop but mediocre. That is good for someone who was never/has yet to be on top(so to speak). Pretty girl rock is a platinum selling single. Think about how this so called flop, had a single that did better than beyonce’s in the same era. I use a beyonce example because she is thought of as someone who is ‘on top’. Regardless of how many records she sells, she is talented.
I knew it was here, she’s been over in the Uk for a while. It’s good that she is still out there promoting overseas since the US isn’t really feeling her right now. *shrugs*
It’s a shame that her album did so bad after all that promotion she did and all those single releases. It’s a shame cause this was a really dope album with some really great songs. I guess she didn’t release her best material…..that and I just don’t think anyone was really checking for her this time around. *shrugs*
I heard she is working on new material so hopefully she can find some success their, although I really don’t think she will have much success as a solo artist. Good luck to her anyways.

It honestly feels like she came out of nowhere. That isn’t entirely true. I remember hearing this beautiful songstress on Timbaland’s Shock Value CD. I saw her in Timbaland’s Scream video and said “HOLD UP! WAIT A MINUTE!” (Polow style). Here are a few things I like about her.
One of my favorite qualities about Keri is her eyes. Have you seen the way she looks into the camera? It kind of feels like she’s really looking at me. I haven’t seen eyes like that since Lauren London circa 2008. She makes you want to stare into her eyes like Medusas. She even has a smile that’s better than Beyonce’s BOOOM! (Keri -1 Beyonce – You match that smile with those eyes and you get a vicious 1-2 punch that’s sure to knock any man out. Check her out in Timbalands “Scream” video. If Female R&B was the NFL, Keri Hilson would be Drew Brees. Keri is quietly putting up MVP numbers without much fanfare. Who knows what she might do over the next few months.
