The Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige showed up and out in royal fashion at Perez Hilton’s ‘One Night In New York City’ bash. The ‘I’m Going Down’ songstress, who is assuredly readying a string of promo appearances in support of her forthcoming ‘My Life II’ (November 21st), treated fans in attendance to an acoustic number rumored to be on her new album.
While faithful followers anxiously await the visual of ‘Life’s’ lead single ’25/8′, this live visual will certainly suffice as satiation until its arrival. More Mary after the jump:

Solid is an understatement. While renown for her fiery vocal deliveries, this showing demonstrated a restraint that the songstress may not be well known for but is certainly more than capable of exercising. And, while I,for one, welcome Blige’s usual ‘Holy Ghost-inspired’ performances, I too welcome these type of performances. They not only display versatility (which everyone knows she has), but also silence naysayers who argue that her performances are exaggerated shouting bouts.
No official word on if this song is set to be featured on the new album.

Any young or grown ladies must look to Mary, who went through a very public rough lifestyle and pulled herself through all the years of pain and despair and self harm to blossom into a ROSE who loves herself fully. It resonates through her looks and her sound.
PROUD of her journey and i hope people who really knows Mary’s story get inspired and believe enough that they deserve better within themselves and uplift to a stronger path.
