With her new album due out in a matter of weeks, there are some who feel the promotional campaign for Mary J Blige‘s new LP hasn’t received the push it needs to ensure it sells more copies than Rihanna‘s ‘Talk That Talk‘, which is released on the same day.
Now, sure to put a smile on many of the faces of many of her fans and generate a greater buzz for the project, Ms.Blige has been confirmed as a performer at the 2011 American Music Awards.

Joining the likes of Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez and Usher , the ‘My Life II‘ vocalist is expected to perform the album’s lead single ‘25/8‘ in a bid to force the number into higher chart ground.
The confirmation of the singer’s appearance at the awards ceremony arrives shortly after it was revealed that Pop Queen Beyonce had lent her vocals to the song ‘Loving A Woman‘, which features on the belter’s new album.

It is safe to say that Beyonce’s album ‘4’ is a FLOP! I think the only reason it reached #1 on the albums chart was because of her name and her stans wanted to prove a point. So far she has released 6 singles “Run The World (Girls)”, “Best Thing I Never Had”, “1+1”, “Party”, “Countdown” and “Love On Top” and none of them made the Top 20 except for “Best Thing I Never Had”. I mean this is unusual for the self-proclaim ‘King B’ right? Anyways “Run The World (Girls)” could only manage to make it to #29, its not on the charts anymore. “Best Thing I Never Had” made Top 20 but is now sitting at #67. “Countdown” debut at #85 and “Party” is at #87. “Love On Top” isn’t charted as yet. So none of Bey’s songs are in the Top 50 on Billboard. GET A CLUE GRAPEJUICE!
