ok,,the GOOD..this video was everything..the fashion..the set up..i loved it.. bey was looking good. i didnt like how they incorporated stuff from previous photo shoots. some of those looks i remember from earlier shoots that were done before this video was shot. you could also tell the scenes with jcole were done recently as beyonce was sitting down trying to hide her bump in the scenes she is in with him. he hair everything u can just tell.

It was too cute! Perfect laid back feel 90’s feel, obviously low budget, but I think that was done on purpose to match the theme of the song. I loved the colors and Bey’s makeup and wardrobe was on point except for that damn blonde wig she had in the pool! Those dark roots with that blonde was a mess! Other than that she looked cute! Ilm mad they were in a trailor park though! Really Bey?! A trailor park?! Whomp!

However, as with every video she’s released since 2006, this doesn’t do it for me.I don’t get the vibe that I wanted to get or the essence of the 90’s and the house party.In all the constant costume changes and wig swapping, the point of the song’s production and its lyrical context were lost and left overshadowed by intense colors.The video just isn’t groovy enough, it isn’t slick enough, it isn’t impressive enough, it isn’t 90’s enough…I’m far from a Beyonce fan, but even I can tell that this video is WAYYY beneath her.She can do better than that…
Anyway, given how messy and sloppy this era has been and considering her current situation, I didn’t have the bar set that high for her.The expectations are far less now.Since the video didn’t deliver for me, it’s all about the song and the song ticks all the boxes to become an urban hit.I would prefer to listen to ‘Party’ throughout November and December instead of cheap pre-Christmas pop music…

A leading choreographer has accused Beyoncé of “stealing” dance moves, after the American singer launched her latest music video.
According to entertainment website AceShowbiz.com, choreography in the video for Beyoncé’s new single Countdown, released last week, shows a number of similarities with work by the Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. Speaking to a Danish blog, De Keersmaeker said she had not been asked permission: “I didn’t know anything about this. I’m not mad, but this is plagiarism.”
Two routines in the video, which shows Beyoncé and her backing dancers in a number of disused buildings, have come under scrutiny. One creates a split-screen effect, with the singer looking to camera through a window on the left, while three female dancers perform a ballet routine in the background on the right. A remarkably similar effect and movements appear in De Keersmaeker’s first work with her company, Rosas Danst Rosas. Another sequence strongly resembles choreography from Achterland, a filmed version of which won the Dance Screen award in 1994.
Beyoncé has not responded to the allegations, but her co-director, Adria Petty, has previously spoken about showing the singer footage of European contemporary dance for inspiration. She told MTV News: “I brought Beyoncé a number or references and we picked some out together. Most were German modern dance references, believe it or not.” Petty said the process was “evolving [and] spontaneous”.
It is the second time Beyoncé has been accused of plagiarism this year, after choreography and visual effects for her performance of Run the World (Girls) at the Billboard Music awards in May was likened to one by Lorella Cuccarini. I
De Keersmaeker has been a major force in contempoary dance for more than 30 years, creating work that has received critical acclaim and popular success around the world. In a 2009 profile, the Guardian’s Sanjoy Roy described her as “a difficult choreographer with a popular following, a minimalist with a tendency to dramatise, a reiticent person with a lot to say”.
De Keersmaeker continued: “What’s rude is that they don’t even bother about hiding it. They seem to think they could do it because it’s a famous work … Am I honoured? Look I’ve seen local school kids doing this. That’s a lot more beautiful.
why didn’t this get released in summer JEEEEEEZ this album has been handled horridly. IMHO this is what SHOULD have happened.

After all the hype and performances of Run the world ‘best thing i never had’ needed that same hype all the performances and promotion. everyone was expecting 1+1 and both videos were released at near enough the same time and both were ballads! it should have been 1 or the other . released on june 1st ready for glastonbury.
on July 24th she should have released party as a summer jam, because it is such a summer jam and collaborated with Lil Kim not J Cole. before Minaj released ‘Fly (Feat Rihanna) .
on august 29th she should have released ‘Love On Top’ after her amazing VMA performance you can bet all 12.4 million viewers would have bought it and millions of others WW because of her pregnancy announcement.
On September 11th the next single should have been ‘I Was Here’ it is such a beautiful song and was used as at the ground zero ceremony for ABC News coverage at the 10 year 9/11 memorial. B Should have performed this song at the actual ceremony and should used the opportunity to have raised funds for charities that help 9/11 victims by releasing ‘I was here’ as the official 9/11 10 year tribute song, and a nice video to go with that would have cemented that. whilst she may not have directly made money from it. it would have reenforced her caring, gracious image that she tries so hard to portray and it would have given her and 4 a massive boost in the public eye.
in October Countdown was great timing for the release but again i think more Hype was needed for it. even if she just stood and had dancers dancing around her whilst she sang on the US X Factor and a video performance on the UK X Factor with her giving her verdict on the acts with Kelly via Video or whatever would have still had the desired effect for a hit in the UK.

I think the hype created by all the releases i suggested above,
would have kept her at no1 or no2 on the charts for a couple of weeks
until November when Rihanna and MJB releases their albums.
On December 4th Beyonce should release Start Over because its a real radio song and it should have featured Kelly Rowland, which would create a destiny’s child reunion hype…’Lets Start Over…..’ and remember all publicity is good publicity right…
then she can have a break over XMAS to get ready to give birth and all that good stuff. then the in February after the Grammys with all the HYPE she should release ‘Rather Die Young’ with a video of singing and rubbing her stomach with Jay-Z, and buying baby stuff maybe flip cameras a bit like Rihannas – Cheers Video so real life stuff.
then to close the album in March she should release ‘End Of Time’ with the video which has been filmed.
