The X-Factor 2011 saw its 3rd set of eliminations tonight. Find out who’s heading home this week…
{For those unfamiliar with The X Factor, the show is the UK’s version of American Idol – with a twist in that groups and over 25’s are eligible to enter. Now in it’s eighth season, the show is responsible for birthing the careers of Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, and JLS. Its US incarnation launched last month FOX}.
After registering the lowest public vote of the contestants, Sami Brookes and Kitty were two acts put on the chopping block.
The weekly sing-off proceeded with Sami taking on Aretha Franklin’s ‘Natural Woman’, while Kitty sung Lady GaGa’s ‘Edge of Glory’.
In the end, it was Kitty who was granted a pass onto next week’s show, after all judges, except Tulisa, opted to save her.
The X Factor continues on ITV1 next Saturday.

Cant believe Kitty was in the bottom 2. She was amazing in the sing off. She should be in the top 3. Her voice is really good.
When Johnny leaves, the show is over. The judges are not setting a good example-and the spate over that wanna-b MB is boring. She is a bully with an attitude and has the look of s’one who would lash out but so far her lip chewing has sufficed – she will be exposed via a former victim of her horrid behaviour, then what? Kelly thinks she’s ‘all that’ but really useless with her so-called professional girl group..no, don’t think so Tulisa & Louis nipping the bullying early & publically a good thing, but will that deter diva mb? she actually enjoys this attention – get rid of her quick – Johnny/Sophie to win.
