Today marks the global release of rapper Drake‘s sophomore set ‘Take Care’.
The LP follows on the heels of his 2010 debut ‘Thank Me Later’, which after delivering hits such as ‘Find Your Love’ and ‘Over’, went on to sell over 1.5 million copies in the US alone.
And while all eyes are on the success of this project, there remain some of who are skeptical of the 25 year old’s chances this go round. Yes, the album’s singles have charted relatively well, but the buzz is markedly less pronounced than a year ago. Add to that the premature leak, and we’re left with some pointing to the dreaded “sophomore slump”.

If the album was coming on Nov. 21 I would buy it, MJB and Michael’s…only to f*** with Rihanna’s no #1 album having ass chart position.
His 1st album SMASHEDDDDDDDDDDDD…… this ish right here…I dont really like it. Thank Me Later exceeded my expectations, but this one was kinda a let down.

Heard it, not worth it. I agree with everyone saying it’s whiny, and sounds like the first but a downgrade. That’s Take Care in a n** shell.
I’m not a fan of Drake, I like “Find Your Love” and “Best I ever Had”, but I never looked further than that. And suddenly this album is popping out on every music site I visit f¡with GLOWING reviews! I don’t listen a lot to critics, but the critical reception has be so outstanding for this sophomore record of his that’s pretty difficult to ignore!

Make Me Proud, Take A Shot For Me, Hate Sleeping Alone, Take Care, Doing It Wrong, HYFY, Look What You’ve Done…. I love this album. I CAN RELATE to it, and that’s why I like it.
Maybe. There were a couple of songs that could have been left off, but there were songs like Over My Dead Body, Hate Sleeping Alone, The Ride, Doing It Wrong, The Real Her and Look What You’ve Done that were really good. I would give the album a 3.5/5.
