The world at large held its breath last night as the guilty verdict in the Involuntary Manslaughter trial of Dr Conrad Murray was handed down.
And, while the trial drew mass attention due to the superstar status of Murray’s victim, Michael Jackson, the verdict was of special significance for the singer’s sister Janet – who patiently awaited news in Australia.

And, though Murray’s conviction cannot undo the end result of his crime, it’ll go some way in helping the family garner some kind of closure moving forward. May MJ rest in peace.
