umm, just like with the bieber “collabo” she didn’t even head back into the studio for this. They just used the studio vocals from her last christmas album and layered on John’s. LAZY!

@Mike shut up they did this duet for the deluxe re release of Merry Christmas To You which should be out in December and hopefully will ship enough to help the original go platinum only 1 album hasn’t been certified from Mariah’s catalog that has sold enough to be and that’s the Remixes which should be gold as it’s a double disc over 100 minuntes long which has shipped more than 250,000 copies so is eligible for gold which would put her total shipments at 65.5 million and sales at 60.55 million and set up her next album very well

Yes this sounds really good. They work quite well together.

@COURTNEY – Kiss my black ass. All I was saying was that I would love a NEW duet from these too because I love them both. All your blabbering bout shipments and s*** don’t mean crap. Mariah is a legend…..who gives a s*** about figures.

They are great together. They did so well on that song they performed live a few years ago (“With you I´m born again” I think).
And yeah, “when Xmas comes” is a great song she did last year, one of those she does new but sounds like classics. She is that good at making music

@Stunna yet you didn’t have a problem bringing your whack a** into this post. Keep on doing your job.

I love that song off Merry Christmas II You … John Legend’s vocals sounds complimentary with Mariah Carey’s … Now if I could only get Mariah and Christina to duet I would be in heaven 🙂

It’s just Christmas songs. Keep em fresh, keep the colalbros coming. It’s not like she’s repimping “Fantasy” every few years. It’s f****** Christmas. You have to deal with it maybe 2 months a year

    you’re welcome…

    Sounds amazing!!

Sounds great so far. I loooove John Legend and had been hoping she would work with him again ever since they did the duet ‘With you I’m born again’. That was magical. I hope they will work together on her new studio album as well. PLEASE!
To whoever said ‘such hasbeens’, Mariah is an icon, she’s legendary. She has had an extroardinary career for 20 years. VERY few people can say that. You can’t consider someone like her a has been. John Legend is an extremely talented singer/songwriter as well. Don’t write people off because they haven’t had a hit every single year. I’d take these 2 “has beens” over all the mediocre artists nowadays.
