Much to the contempt of his naysayers, Young Money Rapper Drake has become Hip Hop’s reigning champion.
Successfully pulling a number of stunts and tricks on the careers of many a Rap staple with his debut effort ‘Thank Me Later‘, his acclaimed but undoubtedly short career has gotten off to an impressive start.
Now, the release of his new album ‘Take Care‘ is about to give him even further cause to celebrate.
Find out how many copies it is predicted to sell in its first week of release below…
675K-725K
Expected to come in at #1 when next week’s Billboard 200 chart positions are announced, the LP is more than likely to exceed the first week sales of r ‘Later’ which moved 447,000 units upon its release in June last year.
If ‘Care’ does indeed shift around the 675,000 to 725,000 units sold mark, it will have the third highest debut sales for an album released this year, following Lady GaGa’s ‘Born This Way‘ at #2 and Lil Wayne‘s ‘Tha Carter IV‘ at #1.
Quite interestingly, he is expected to achieve this feat without the aid of a #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 and despite the fact that the project (quite unfortunately) surfaced online days ago.
