As reported here, ‘Superwoman’ singer Alicia Keys has seen herself named in many-a-headline for her recent charitable efforts. Besides her recent partnering with Western Union for ‘The World of Betters’, the singer reprises her role as host of the annual Keep A Child Alive ‘Black Ball’ affair (November 3).
The star studded event, with previous guest list boasting singers Whitney Houston, Beyonce, and more, will include appearances and performances from the likes of Will.I.am, Jay Sean, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Norah Jones, and Mrs. Beatz herself (among others). This year’s ‘Ball’ is set to honor late Beatle George Harrison and benefit Keys’ Keep A Child Alive foundation.
Fresh from taking the stage at her alma mater to donate instruments to the school’s students earlier this week, the songstress spoke with MTV about the event and what attendees can expect:
As ever, keep it locked to That Grape Juice for photos and performances from the event!
I WONDER WHY RIHANNA NEVER GO TO EVENTS LIKE THIS OR INVITED TO PERFORM
Anyone have a link to this video from youtube?? I can’t watch these mtv things.
