The X-Factor USA is here!

Fox’s much hyped British import has finally kicked off on American soil and looks set to be the biggest show of its kind.

Featuring judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, LA Reid and Nicole Scherzinger, the show favours American Idol with its nationwide auditions. However, there is a defining twist in that groups and solo acts over 25’s are eligible to enter.

After weeks of auditions and bootcamp we now enter the live shows where the narrowed down few are battling to advance to the next stage of the competition.

So much for being inventive Simon. The lyric change done to Rachel’s song was first done by GAMU on the UK X Factor last year. Hardly fair to take credit. At least let her have that one considering she didn’t make it through when she should have. Anyway, still a great show. Better than UK show at present.

So disappointed with the X factor US – it feels like American Idol just with a format change The Birtish version is much more behind the scenes with more original contemporary acts. The US contestants could come from any time in the last 15 to 20 years. And why no Xtra Factor in the US where you get to see more of the contestants personalities?

I think that the x factor usa has more talents that the x factor uk, however, i still prefer the x factor uk. the x factor usa needs the xtra factor to make it more exciting, they need to give the public an opportunity to speak to the judges, and the contestant.
