The X-Factor USA is here!

Fox’s much hyped British import has finally kicked off on American soil and looks set to be the biggest show of its kind.

Featuring judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, LA Reid and Nicole Scherzinger, the show favours American Idol with its nationwide auditions. However, there is a defining twist in that groups and solo acts over 25’s are eligible to enter.

After weeks of auditions and bootcamp we now enter the live shows where the narrowed down few are battling to advance to the next stage of the competition.

Check out the best and worst of the performances below…

So much for being inventive Simon. The lyric change done to Rachel’s song was first done by GAMU on the UK X Factor last year. Hardly fair to take credit. At least let her have that one considering she didn’t make it through when she should have. Anyway, still a great show. Better than UK show at present.

So disappointed with the X factor US – it feels like American Idol just with a format change The Birtish version is much more behind the scenes with more original contemporary acts. The US contestants could come from any time in the last 15 to 20 years. And why no Xtra Factor in the US where you get to see more of the contestants personalities?

I think that the x factor usa has more talents that the x factor uk, however, i still prefer the x factor uk. the x factor usa needs the xtra factor to make it more exciting, they need to give the public an opportunity to speak to the judges, and the contestant.

PAULA,tsk tsk kicking yourself for not keeping the group “Illusion Confusion”yet and you know why. they WERE your favorite yet Xfactor for reasons that SHOULD be addressed were sabotaged. all other final 32 have FIRST audition on here NOT them, all others have bootcamp performance NOT them, all others sung undisturbed at judges house-they were sabotaged again with an interveiw over their performance, come on tell why or put up their first audition with 2 standing ovations AND SImons COMMENT of “thst was fantastic, you are the best group in the competition by far” come on post their audition vid, what the hell is xfactor scared of?
