However, today saw news that will be sure to lift the moods of any Rap enthusiast keeping track of J.Cole‘s debut album ‘Cole World: The Sideline Story’.
Raise your glasses people, because nine weeks after the album’s release it has been certified Gold in the US.

Peaking at #1 and with over 500,000 units sold, the LP received its certification just days after the performer discovered he was nominated in the Best New Artist category at the 2012 Grammy Awards.
Though some would point out that Drake‘s ‘Take Care‘ sold more in one week than ‘Cole World’ sold in nine, there is no denying that this is an impressive feat for the ‘Who Dat‘ maestro.
