Whether he likes it or not, Will.i.am has always struggled as a solo act.
From facing the shame that was ‘Change Is Now’ to failing to chart with any of the singles lifted from ‘Songs About Girls’, Mr. Adams’ solo work has oft played second fiddle to the work he creates for other artists.
Now, in a bid to generate momentum for his LP #willpower, he has revealed that Britney Spears and Alicia Keys are both features on the forthcoming project.

Speaking to Capital FM, he confessed:
It was all a dream when I was 15 years old – 20 years later I managed to take the dream from an idea to physicality. So #willpower is uplifting songs, encouragement for those that need it.
I have a song with Alicia Keys – me, Alicia and Swedish House Mafia. Me and Shakira have been trying to finish the stuff we started, and me and Britney is really crazy.
As excited as we are to hear the material, why does he think all these collabs are a good idea?
For, while cuts with Britney and Shakira may guarantee success on a singles front, they will do very little for the overall success of the project, or Will’s credibility as a commercially potent soloist.
Either way, we look forward to whatever he’s been cooking up.

I dunno if Britney will be on it, Her label have said she’s taking time off (deserved) but Will as solo is just awful and sadly the last album of BEP was just as bad… He always has to have people featured just to get a single to chart.

Will i am Confirmed he Recorded 2 songs with Britney Spears , so hopefully he will be using the New one on this record, either way they need to release it with an official Video it will be a guaranteed HIT

everyone wants a piece of britney? why? maybe i’m wrong; but everyone britney collabs with (except will) seems to be doing as well or a hell of a lot better than she is as far record sales. rihanna, nikki minaj, kei$ha and of course lady gaga.
seems like britney is the one wanting a piece of those who are already largely successful.
i liked her collab with rihanna but i don’t understand how it made it to # 1. it’s hard to find a soul who doesn’t describe it as steaming mess.

^ You do realise that you’re comparing people a few albums in to Britney who is on her 7th album, 6 out of them were No1 and if you put all of those womens 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc albums side by side you’d see Britney’s albums WAY outsold all theirs.

and do you realize that you’re comparing obtaining music by today’s technology (much of the time illegally) to the way it was obtained in 1999 thru the early 2000s when if you didn’t buy it , you might not get it.
if big sellers like adele, taylor swiftt, and gaga can sell multiple millions (some in just one week) in this climate, think how huge their record sales would be without all the looting. as big as britney’s were, maybe?
my comment was in response to the claim that all these artists who are now more successful than britney, “want a piece of her”.
i found an interesting site that asks the question “why do britney spears fans accept her mediocrity?” they suggest that fans are still so in love with the ‘britney of old’ they just can’t let her go even though her performances are “lackluster”.
i agree. the fans, assisted by the media, find it impossible to shut down the vision of the little blonde girl in pigtails, her blouse tied at the waist and wearing a teeny tiny plaid skirt while arguably dancing up a storm and then selling record millions of albums for a female artist. all of this praise britney is now getting is solely for her accomplishments made in her t*** years.
mj (whose ‘thiller’ album sold more than nearly all of britney’s combined ) probably wouldn’t have continued to get media hype for his sales had they not continued to be off the chain high. even after child abuse charges his sales way out did britney’s.
@LAX, having Rihanna over Britney…both are auto tuned whores that can’t sing a note live. Britney used to be able to dance, Rihanna never could and still can’t. It’s all bad either way.
