I’m not so thrilled about this news of yet another Gaga album being released in 2012, because of the simple fact that I’m just bored with Lady Gaga’s and everything she does seems to be so forced. That aside, I’m not sure what to think about her as a person. I think she’s very intelligent and I think I’d be entertained by her, but I wonder if her friendship is sincere. TBH, Gaga seems like she was shading and bad mouthing most of these pop acts last year when she thought she had an upper hand. The lip syncing rant, Interscope ad, along with some of her other stunts last year made me give her the side eye. I think now that she’s learned a lesson that humbled her (after BTW), she wants to hold hands and sing cumbaya with these iconic women that came before her. SMH.
As far as I see it, Beyonce and Adele have the best mutual respect for each other, as Katy and Rihanna does.

I literally can’t believe that anger and hateful words that are said over people that no one has probably ever met in person. It sometimes makes me laugh at how people can react to text on the internet but sometimes I just feel sorry. Musical Artists are all different in their own way, they all have been influenced by other artists, some people prefer other artists over some others but it doesn’t mean they suck. They all put time and energy into making music for their fans to listen to and appreciate and at the end of the day I believe that that’s all that matters to them.

I didn’t hear Gaga actually saying she will release an album in 2012, she said she was looking forward to releasing her next album and going on tour. I think if she does release again this year it will be late in the year, that would be around 18 months since Born This Way so not too bad, the way pop music is at the moment I’m not sure anyone wants to disappear for too long. There are still supposed to be 4 singles from Born This Way (if they stick to the original plan), although at this stage in the campaign alll they need to do is keep the album in the charts. She will be on tour so there will be little promotion, hopefully just videos and some of the fan favourites from the album such as Heavy Metal Lover.
As for fake, they are ALL fake, and so are we – everyone puts on a public persona and pop stars do it more than most, we all try to present a certain image to different people (boss, family, friends, strangers et al). I’m also sick of copying allegations and I don’t care who is being accused of copying who, there is NOTHING new left in music anymore, its only how its put together that differs. None of the women mentioned in this article, and I’m not hating on any of them, reinvented the wheel.
Moving on, looks like it could be a good year for pop fans with Gaga, Madonna and Christina touring and, for Madonna and Christina definitely, maybe Gaga, new albums! I’m excited to see what they all come up with and they all have their own distinctive style so liking one does not mean you can’t like the others ;o)

it’s one thing to follow music trends which very many artists do, but morphing into someone else’s physical appearance and performance style is totally different. this is exactly what gaga does.
she blew up with christina’s dress style. platinum hair, red lips, rocking huge christina style sunglasses. at times it was impossible to tell them apart at first glance. recently she’s been working her latest xtina morph with her long over one shoulder hair extensions and now boobs bubbling and nearly spilling ala christina.

Oh please, Christina did not invent blond hair, sunglasses or red lipstick and I can’t see why on earth you think Gaga has the same dress style as her. Gaga looks nothing like Christina, the only thing they have in common is dyed blond hair (or wigs mostly in Gaga’s case). Gaga is constantly changing her hair style and colour, same for her clothes whereas Christina has had that long platinum blonde “do” for ages, and I’m actually offended about you comparing her style to Christina’a as Gaga has FAR better dress sense. I’m not hating on Christina, she has the best voice of all the solo pop females, half of her music isn’t to my taste though and she needs to cut back on the oversinging.
I get so sick of hearing the fans of one female artist constantly slagging down the others as if they think that will help their favourite, all it does is make us all look like a bunch of nutjobs and it hurts our favourites rather than helps them.
I agree with you about Christina/Amy Winehouse by the way, although I’d suggest not getting defensive about copying allegations given you are making a few of them yourself, pot and kettle anyone?
gaga has copied bey’s hair shaking pony tail swinging performances. she’s copied madonna’s religious twinged video ‘like a pray’ dancing in her undies ala madonna. pulling off the mj crotch grab in ‘love game’. rhinestones covering her body as did britney in (i think it was ‘toxic’). her ‘ grace jones’ and other impersonations.

not a sole is claiming that chrisina actually invented any of the above but for a period gaga was grabbing onto all three similar in style to christina. many on several posts commented on how they had first mistaken gaga for christina.
as it turned the media pinned the copycat rap on christina’s tail.
gaga’s wardrobe was not over the top wild when she first hit. she was working a lot of supple white and red outfits that christina had been doing for some time.
gaga’s dress hasn’t resembled christina for quite a while. unfortunately xtina’s style has been a red hot steaming mess since ‘bionic’ (i just discovered lately how underrated it was).
now that christina is hopefully on the comeback, keep an eye on them both to see how many times gaga mirrors her.
i don’t think i’m being defensive about “copying allegations”. i just think christina got a s***** horrific deal in the xtina vs gaga bout.

Odd, its usually Madonna Gaga is accused of copying. For the record, I don’t believe that Gaga copied Christina, nor do I believe Christina copied Gaga. If I wanted to I could go back and look at, say, Madonna, scutinise her videos, music and fashion, and start accusing her of copying this, that and the other person, look hard enough for similarities and you will find them. If anything, Gaga looks more like Amy Winehouse than Christina, especially when she wears the eyeliner with the flicked up corners, its supposed to be partly why she went blonde in the first place.
Yeah, Christina hasn’t been looking her best lately, she just needs some decent clothes rather than those clingy leggings – I know how unflattering they can be because i used to wear them myself. Gaga doesn’t get off scott-free either, that cloak and the ball corset she wore on New Year’s Eve looked ridiculous.
Yeah, I think Christina got a bad deal as well, although I don’t think the poor album sales can be blamed on that too much, even her fans didn’t exactly think it was a masterpiece. Here’s hoping she is back on form this year ;o)
New GaGa album is something I’m looking forward to. If Rihanna can poop out 6 albums in six years, then Gaga can release three studio albums in 5 years. So BTW, love tha fact that Gaga and B are pals. Most of the feuding stans are forgetting something…

3, Rihanna is a big Beyonce fan, and B always supports Rihanna.
So there really is no point in arguing guys! Gaga has been around for much less time than Rihanna, yet she’s atleast (if not more) popular than her. Here’s the thing

-The IT girls who can be Royalty one day – Rihanna and Lady Gaga
-Now and It – Adele, Katy Perry, Kesha and Nicki Minaj.( Give’em time)
Of these, Beyonce is the Most Likely to become a Legend(a’ la MC, Whitney and Celine) because, she has the Voice, Moves, Critical and Commercial success as well as penchant for being the best all-round performer of our times.

If it is true about Gaga releasing a new album in 2012 then it won’t be the run of the mill pop music that EVERY artist & there fans are content with thesedays. Gaga will keep it edgy she has evolved so much as an artist & the truth is I hated (Just Dance & Poker Face) but by the time she released PAPPARAZZI & LOVEGAME!!!!!!!!!! OMG I was hooked on that freaky b****!!!!!! Then she dropped the Fame Monster & I was like (B**** please) now your getting cocky but damn your GREAT. Then came Born This Way album with tracks like (Schiebe, Government Hooker, The Edge Of Glory, Heavy Metal Lover, & Judas) & it was @ that moment I thought to myself this B**** means business & rightly so. She has raisedcthe bar in pop music since 2008 because believe me Pop music was in a real s*** hole of a state before she came along.
Sure” Gaga has her influences I am NOT denying that for a moment but the thing with Gaga is that she is so SMART & clued in as to how to use those influences to her advantage!!!!!!!
