She sounded better than at the grammy’s, but after playing Rolling in the deep for a year realised that she’s not that great a singer. Shame really

  2. Beck February 21, 2012

Lol @Dev I completely agree; she’s an extremely overrated vocalist. Good musician, but a pretty average singer.

  3. unnami February 21, 2012

It looks like everyone outside UK can appriciate her, but the BRITs prefer One Direction… that’s strange. And despite home much I love Rolling in the Deep why didn’t she perform something else, for ex. Set Fire to the Rain?

  4. NickiLuv February 21, 2012

She’s 23? Heck I thought she was in her early 30s.

  5. THE GREAT LACEFRONCE. February 21, 2012

I’m tired of this FAT B**** performing these same DULL, boring songs 😕

  6. Kingbee February 21, 2012

    The most overrated singer ever!

  7. Von February 21, 2012

I love adele, but i think she’s holding back now that she had vocal surgery. I don’t know, I could be wrong but I don’t think she’s singing with much emotion like other singers do. Like i said, I’m a fan but Im speaking how i honestly feel.

They cut her off accepting her award…. I was not impressed.

  9. Malyeh February 21, 2012

WHAT ? Adele is not a good vocalist ?! What da f*** !!! Try to sing like her for a minute and see how it goes.

She has one of the most beautiful voice of her generation, a voice that’s gonna stay forever.

Plus, I think she puts a lot of emotions in her perfromances.

  10. hussy February 21, 2012

no its true. she can sing but is no whitney. and she isn’t holding back at all. Thats her limit. I’ve never seen/heard her belt it out big time. if Rolling in the deep is a belter, then WHAT the hell Is I Will Always Love you. Girl is good but as a contralto, IMO, Alexandra Burke is far better. Just youtube The SIlence X Factor as you will see. ANd the girl (Alex) gets shaded too. SMH.

TAYLOR, dear GOD!! Near 1m….but seriously….who the hell buys an album after the said artist has had the biggest airplay on the radio in the last year; just because they sweeped the grammys. People confuse me> Props to adele. But lets get real 😉

  12. ChristinasCOMING February 21, 2012

Yall just hating on Adele because she slays the hell out of your favs.

Calling her overrated, a fat b****, demeaning her talent…WTF but yall turn right around and endorse somebody who sounds like a bleating billy goat, and dances like a erected d***.

  13. KAT DELUNA FAN February 21, 2012

    Good Adele !!

Where is bruno performance? stop trippin’

  14. TAYLOR SWIFTS NUMBER 1 FAN!!! February 21, 2012

@hussy Yeah but every artist who wins a lot of awards gets a sales incease.. its pretty normal. An album comes along once every few years, that just blows up.. Adele 21 is that album.

  15. TAYLOR SWIFTS NUMBER 1 FAN!!! February 21, 2012

I think usher’s album confession was the last massive selling album, sold 20 million.

  16. hussy February 21, 2012

@Taylor. Yeah. Shame others don’t get the same recognition. Like in 2010, Janelle Monae should’ve won AOTY over Taylor, Bey and Gaga. Girl was on another level. ANd it would’ve raised her profile. Each of the formers didn’t need the attention, as they could always get it. Janelle did (and the album was criticall acclaimed and not just ok critics 90%+ critics).

  17. JohnVidal (RIP Whitney-true great) February 21, 2012

How the hell can she sell 700,000 copies this week in America just for the grammys? We knew she was going to win them months ago…
Amazing. Biggest era of the 21th century. But really, a little too much for me now, and I love her
I need someone else to do these numbers, people likes to focuse in only one thing nowadays

  18. TAYLOR SWIFTS NUMBER 1 FAN!!! February 21, 2012

@hussy Yeah I supose, but I doubt many awards shows, give awards out to little known acts over the big ones, but of course if they did, they’d sure help the lesser now acts to get noticed.

  19. lostonez February 21, 2012

how the hell adele album was released 1 year ago and she sold 700,000 copies like its da 1st time the public is hearing the record..damn adele is here to stay whether she is fat or an average singer…just deal,,

  20. Saetana February 22, 2012

I don’t deny Adele’s talent but she leaves me cold, this type of singing should evoke emotion and, other than Rolling in the Deep, her music doesn’t touch me. All those boring power ballads about being unlucky in love are getting a bit old now, let’s hope she has something more upbeat to write about next time now she is in a new relationship. I don’t think her voice sounds as good as it used to but she may well be trying not to strain too much so soon after her operation. And, yes, the beginning of this song (the part where she is often shaky due to stage fright) was better than the Grammys performance. It was totally out of order for them to cut her acceptance speech off though – that is what comes of having the BRITS shown on ITV, god forbid they should lose some advertising revenue by letting the show run a little late! The B** are far better for this sort of thing, I remember when they were showing Gaga’s Radio 1 Big Weekend set and she played for far longer than she was supposed to (value for money, that’s my girl!), they just put a message on the screen saying the following programme was delayed and would be shown once Gaga’s set had finished. Flexibility is essential in modern television and it seems ITV don’t have any, reminds me why I never watch any of their rotten channels.

She is just 23? wow…being so fat makes her look 40

  22. JohnVidal (RIP Whitney-true great) February 22, 2012

    @Saetana
Isn´t B** the public television in the UK and ITV a private one? What do u want? It happens in every country arond the globe. Private tv has to do it like that, they have no other way (plus from what I´ve watched a few times from Spain it isn´t half the time on ITV than in Spanish private tv (the breaks I mean)

  23. Saetana February 22, 2012

    @JOHNVIDAL

Yeah the B** is our public broadcasting service, ITV is commercial. I don’t even like Adele but the way they cut her off when she had barely said a word was disgusting – apparently they then also showed Blur’s set on ITV2 because of over-running (just found that out) so why couldn’t they let Adele speak? She is not known for making long speeches and James said he had no idea why they asked him to stop her and that he felt really bad about it. Blur played an 11 minute set, the longest of the night, and they couldn’t find a couple of minutes for the biggest star in the world last year, disgusting.
