“We’re dedicated to a tour in the summer  We’re working on that now and trying to find different sponsors and people that will get us in the cities we feel like we should be in, so it’s not just as easy as saying it, but we’re actually putting forth the effort to try and make sure it happens.”

Needless to say we, like many of their faithful fans, are ready to see this happen!  Roll on spring 2012!

That would be nice but they would have to add someone else to the Tour

  2. LouLou February 22, 2012

Wow finally! I’ve never gotten a chance to see Brandy live. I really hope they make this happen. I have been watching a lot of her live concerts online and she is amazing!

  3. WhatWHAT February 22, 2012

I agree with 4everHakeem….Let’s Get Tyreese and some other folk on this tour.

  4. voneeluv February 22, 2012

Great Hope they come to NYC! I would definitely go see them Haven’t seen an R&B tour in a minute. I missed the PPP Tour. Plus didn’t want to see trey songs

  5. voneeluv February 22, 2012

No Tyrese Plz his ego wouldn’t fit in the building. Let mo and bran make all that money lol. but maybe melanie fiona, marsha ambrosia, chrisette michelle.

Let them hold it down on their own. They are music greats. But i want a world tour girls, not somekind of backyard performance. Tour in Europe, Australia, Japan, South Africa. Actually thats where most of your loyal fans are.

Kelly Rowland would be a great addition to this tour! in fact i was talkin bout this with my peeps 2 years ago. Now the only thing that must happen on Kelly’s part is she needs to bust out a Huge hit like RIGHT NOW. I aint just talkin number 1 on R&B it gotta hit top 10 becuase love it or hate it Kelly does get way more international exposure and has been more prominent media wise and music wise than Brandy. not saying any one is better than the other. I just think Kelly would ensure bigger rooms for them to play in. Especially with the DC linage and the hits even though some are spaced far apart, lol. but how Epic would that be these three woman represent some of the best underrated talent in the industry. This could really be a big look for all ladies involved. Instead of them each having separate sets i would have the show flow like an awards show. So all the girls share 1 slammin ass band with horns, percussion and a full rhythm section, hell give me some strings! and each girl comes out does 2-3 songs then another comes out and so on and so on.But please no Frank Gatson, he ain’t had an original idea as creative director in 20 years, how about Tina Landon or Lauri anne -Gibson for creative direction?Or myself i ain’t doing s***! The key would be to find the cohesion in all their music so it can flow live. Yet that i don’t think would be a problem. It could really take the whole “Joint Tour” concept to a whole other level.

I don’t agree with Kelly Rowland at all on this tour. I don’t think Kelly is r&b enough to flow with the vibe of Brandy and Monica. Her international hits are dance like pop records. I think Melanie Fiona would be great and her album coincides with the girls. Kelly’s new material will probably be way after the summer anyway.

NOOOO don’t do it Brandy! Go on your own tour with some opening acts!

  12. Shantelle February 22, 2012

I’m first in line for this tour. Its super beautiful to see them together especially
since they were chart rivals in the 90’s. Just shows how time can change things.

I WILL BE FRONT ROW FOR THIS !!! I BEEN WANTING BRANDY LIVE FOR YEARS NOW & SHE BETTER PERFORM FROM EVERY CD !!!! I LOVE THIS WOMAN!!!!!!! I have seen Monica before, she is good as well-

  17. Songscribe February 23, 2012

I think seperate tours with opening acts will be good. A Brandy and Chris Brown Collabo would do. i m not for the idea that the girls do a tour together, given that they both need more than each other for their comebek. they should ride on with a mainstream artist and do a world tour, thts it. Tyrese is r n b but how many fans does he have? They can invite him for a cocktail bar perfomance.

  18. YOOSONDALOOSE February 23, 2012

    YES!

  19. DUNK February 23, 2012

Amazing! i would love to see them both!

  20. JMLGIRL February 23, 2012

This would be amazing although I bet it will just end up being a tour in the States. It would be exciting if they brought the tour to the UK. Would love to see Brandy again live and would be nice to hear Monica live as well. Promoters would be surprised to know they are actually in demand over here so they should make it happen but just make sure it isn’t some 45 min performance with short medleys but at least 1hr 15 or more to give good value to fans.

  21. Royalkev February 23, 2012

I’m not crazy about a Brandy & Monica tour. I much rather see Brandy tour with a guy or with some opening acts. If seeing her along with Monica is the only option , I’ll take it. I think the missing link in these ladies coming together is Aaliyah. That’s the only way this really would feel right to me. I guess, it’s still not so much of a stretch, now that Bran & Mo have their 2nd duet together. If I had to find 1 more addition for the tour though I’d probably throw in Alicia Keys.

I’d like to see Monica and Brandy tour with Miguel!

  23. Songscribe February 23, 2012

@Royal kev, good suggestion, Alicia,, one leg is in the mainstream, it could work.

SN: Sam dont u have a better foto of the 2 to put up here. Even a blind man can tell this one was so photoshopped,,,i cant

  24. @antertain February 23, 2012

After I initially commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I get 4 emails with the exact same comment. Is there a means you can remove me from that service? Cheers!
