I really want to believe that Oprah’s had the family’s best interest at heart for this interview, but to swoop down less than a month after this icon dies and interviews her family makes me wonder if this was Oprah’s golden opp to get some stellar ratings for her sinking channel. We may tune in to watch the interview but once it’s done, he channel will be very empty, ratings wise.
Wow, and she was Whitneys friend?????…. hope my friends dont drive the bus over me like that in the end.
I wish u people would think before u comment.
Oprah can’t FORCE anyone to interview. Clearly they wanted to do it or they would have said no. If they don’t mind neither should you.
Oprah is doing fine with or without that tv network. Can u say the same?
Ugh. Children.
@ greg …. Would you rather your friends lie or tell the truth? There is much to be said about a person that considers the truth to be a put down… or how you put “ran over by a bus”. Pat is simply telling the truth.. In the end whit wasn’t a saint she was “Human”….. she could SAAANNNGGG… but ultimately she was “HUMAN”… and the reality is that she struggled just like we all do.. I would rather hear about how she overcame then to hear that her life was full of wonderful flowers which we a llll know to be a lie. Get real and most of all, think Before you comment… Period.
Greg that’s what you call being real… SCents say it again!
Whitney´s interview on Oprah in 2009 was the musical interview of the decade. And this one special is going to be so huge and emotive too. Cos you just can´t get any bigger than Whitney Houston. And people truly love her around the world
What I really like about both interviews is that they are telling the TRUTH. Which makes Whitney be more loved in my opinion
All this is so emotive. Whitney is gone, sometimes I´m still shocked, she was doing so good these last 5 yeras that is really unfair. I was expecting it during her darkest period but not now. Just unfair
No, friends and family dont do that,,,,,,if youre my best friend im not going to say anything about you even after your death…..there is no reason for them to do this.
@greg
There is!!!
Whitney is not a normal person, she belongs to the world in a way. And her persona is being talked around the world buth with truths and with lies. It´s better to talk, if it is the truth. All celebrities that reach that level of stardom should do it, it´s better for their own sake. Celine Dion is an example, she was always clear and wanted the world to know everything about what happens in her life, so the pressure of the media can´t affect her life (well still can but you know)
