The ‘Disaster’ singer, who is putting the finishing touches to her 3rd studio album (‘Jumping Trains’), blew the roof clean off the arena prior to the Los Angeles Clippers’ duel with the Pheonix Suns.

Yaaawwwn, typical standard version. Nothing impressive at all. You hear college and high school student singers sing just as good or better. Her attempts at gospel vocal runs SUCK!! She aint no church singer, dont even try. She was off-pitch during and after those lame vocal runs, ugh… garbage. Srusly, just play Whitney’s SSB at all sporting events and call it a day. Cheaper for the league promoters too. Costs a lot less money than hiring these wannabes.

Good….I wanted to hear something with ” for the land of the free..” But overall, she did a really good job….as expected.
I like that she added runs that have never been done before with the national anthem… she placed her runs exactly where they needed to be for her version to stand out… she flubbed on the free but she saved herself….. good job tho

Lemme be honest. I am somewhat of a JoJo fan but it sounds like the has a stuffy nose here or something. Her other National anthem performance from some years ago was better even though she sang it too fast.
Here, the runs were pretty good. Tonality, ok. She hit the note “rockets red glare” off pitch a little. Overall: 6/10 Sorry, honest opinion. Her control was good but not amazing.

Although I prefer the one she sang in 2011, I think this one was better than her pass National anthems . I think she was kinda nervous and she has recently gotten sick with the flu, maybe that’s why she might sound have sounded a little stuffy.
