Last month, after weeks of speculation, the original Sugababes confirmed that they were reuniting ,and readying a new LP with the aid of Emeli Sande.
Last night, in what can only build momentum for the project, Siobhan Donaghy has hinted at when fans can expect the project.
Her comments below…
In response to a fan on a Twitter, she revealed:
Thanks for your kind words.There will indeed be another record out in the autumn with a single in summer.
While Donaghy may not have mentioned the Sugababes in this tweet, all evidence regarding their reunion points in this direction.
For, following comments by Mutya and Keisha which concur that all three girls have reunited, we’d be surprised if Siobhan was talking about a solo project and not a Babes album.
Either way, we want to know:
Heidi has just not been On 1 album and that album flopped! So that other chick is irrelevant to me and so are they who cares bout them
Yes, very excited baout this, love the current babes, but they could work this! THEY SHOULD ADD HEIDI AND MAKE IT A FOUR!

It depends on the material. If it’s good, why not root for them? Their debut was good granted that they were all very young, but not as good as some people ( who probably didn’t even buy it) are trying to make it out to be now.
But I agree, it’s not going to be the same without Heidi. If 2.0. reunited, then that would be something to look forward to, no doubt!! 😀
I just feel like sugababes 1.0 never got the chance to showcase their potential and I believe 1.0 indirectly helped to build up the momentum for the sugababes 2.0. Heldi was just a replacement that kept the momentum of the sugababes as a whole going but, I we can see now, was not an major player of success. Given enough time, I believe 1.0 would have succeed if they had the right team behind them to believe in them. It was 1.0 that drew me in to the sugababes in the first place. I say give them a chance cause im certainly interested to see what they come up with
for all you guys that don’t know Siobhan trust me you are in for a MASSIVE treat she’s an amazing artist and songwriter in her own right, i know people may have got used to heidi, but no disrespect, some of the best Sugababes material was from there first album One Touch it was superb and is regarded as a classic, to this day when people talk of the sugababes they see Overload, there first and best record, look up Soul Sound and One Year, amazing songs, I garantee when these 3 amazing artist come back together it”s gonna be sick, even just looking at the photo used above how exotic and uniquely beautiful the 3 of them look makes it more of an interesting group than the other 3 generic Barbie Dolls, let alone musically what the 3 of them are capable of its gonna be so different and, intelligent and more mature than anything out there, wait and see guys, there gonna make us proud to be British!
i hope they come out with a soulful sound, they have already succeeded so i hope they don’t go for the commercial dance/pop/techno sound…can’t wait!!
very excited for them and cant wait. i will miss heidi but you never know it could be like a life cycle and before you know it heidi will replace Siobhan again! lol
