Commiserating her release from a lengthy stint in prison comes ‘4 Walls’, a hip-hop throwback in which the underrated MC thanks her fans for their unwavering support throughout the years.

Sonically ‘4 Walls’ is vastly different from what’s currently painting the landscape of urban radio. There’s a nostalgic feel to it very reminiscent of rap flows from the early 90s that works incredibly well with Brat’s delivery and lyrics.
Prior to its release the ‘Funkdafied’ rapper tweeted, “This is strictly for my Tweeples, my @TeamBratTat, @BRATMOB, my squads, loyal fans and friends. This Fa All Yawl! Thank u.” Hopefully, this is just a preview of what’s to come from Da Brat Tat Tat in 2012!

Not bad. I’m not too crazy about the production but the lyrics make up for it. She has something to say and I look forward to hearing more from her.

I love this, because she’s talking about the real life. I love that there are new genres of rap. Rap/pop and that the Brat is brining back a story to the game.
